52 Lists week #26: The Things I Keep In My Purse

What a fun and easy list assignment this week: list the things you keep in your purse / handbag.  I typically have a pretty small purse but somehow I manage to put quite a bit into it.  I am one of those people who feels the need to always be prepared "just in case!" 



Now I know this list is a bit long but I actually do carry around a fairly small purse- honest!
  • Keys
  • Cell Phone
  • Wallet
  • Small first aid kit/ stash of band aids (I have 3 boys!)
  • Gum
  • Sunglasses
  • A tiny make up kit with lip gloss, blush and a nail file
  • Pen
  • Mini hair brush
  • A Book (usually)
  • A small camera
  • Travel pack of tissues

    I forgot my cell phone on my list, but that's because I normally put it in my back pocket.

      I'm surprised I thought to put mine on the list... usually I forget it on the counter or the table and leave the house without it!

    Your list reminded me that I need to put a nail file in my purse. I keep forgetting and always need one when I'm out and about.

      I try to keep a few in there; I seem to always loose them and yet I need one so often.

    Now I'm wondering where the little pack of kleenex that used to be in my purse is. I didn't see any when I made my list.

Do you remember the TGIF lineups on Friday nights? I can remember planning sleepovers and time with friends around TV Show lineups of our favorite shows... or else trying to set the VCR to record our favorite shows if we weren't going to be home. Dollar Store Candy Cane Wreath

Things That Make Me Laugh

I loved the challenge of this week's list for our 26 lists link up.  I don't know about you but I really need to laugh more lately.  It's such a great stress reliever. 1.  Books-- I love a good funny book that makes me laugh out loud.  I haven't read one in a while but if you have any recommendations I'm all ears.  The last book I can remember making me laugh was the Un-Honeymooners. 2  The boys being silly. 3.  Watching shows like America's Funniest Videos or Family Feud. 4. My husband.  Most people don't realize it but he's actually pretty funny and often makes me laugh. 5.  Whenever my sisters/ family get together and we get to reminiscing (particularly if my Aunt Elaine is around) we end up laughing so hard at all the old family stories that we are all in tears by the end of the night.  It's fabulous. 6. What's Up Wednesday in November

It's the last Wednesday of the month and that means it's time for What's Up Wednesday. This will be my last post of the month but I'll be back on Monday the 2nd with some of my favorite Prime Purchases of the year.  What We're Eating: Sunday: Steak (and tofu) stir-fry over rice Monday: Weight Watcher's American Chop Suey  with salad Tuesday: Crock pot Philly cheesesteak grinders with chips and salad Wednesday: Pumpkin pancakes with fruit and bacon Thursday: Our menu hasn't changed since 2020..Though we will sub out the crescent rolls for some homemade bread/rolls that Alec's cooking up for us.  Friday: Leftover turkey pie Saturday: One of our favorite soup recipes; though I'm not sure which one yet! It's the second Monday of the month which means it's time for the Share Our lives link up. This month for the Share Our Lives link up we're sharing where we like to shop. I struggled a bit with this prompt since it's so open ended. I thought I'd list my "top 3" stores in various categories. inside our local Market Basket Groceries: Market Basket Price Chopper Stop and Shop For Gifts: Amazon (free shipping to family that lives far away is fabulous!)
