Slices of Life

 It's the first Wednesday of the month and time for the Currently link up with Jenn. This month we're talking about what we're currently loving, beginning, ending, picking, and posting. Loving:   Lunch this weekend with Alec, Evan, and my mother in law (oh and I finally managed to get a photo of his room all unpacked). I never order breakfast foods out but wow; this waffle dish was amazing! We ate lunch on the patio in the sunshine; it was lovely     We also had a really lovely walk and lunch on Sunday too. My husband, my mother in law, the two boys and I all walked from our house to the local ice cream stand (that also serves a limited menu). The weather was just perfect!  Beginning:   Our trip! As you read this my husband and I are hopefully on our way to Glacier National Park (our plane leaves early this morning). It's the first Wednesday of the month and time for the currently link up with Jenn. In July we're talking about what we're currently loving, savoring, celebrating, remembering, and trying.  Loving:  Linen! Linen and gauze are my two favorite summer fabrics but this summer in particular I have so many linen pieces I am just LOVING. I got these aqua linen pants in my stitch fix box and I wear them pretty much any time they are clean. I love the color!    I also found these adorable linen blend harem pants on the Old Navy site as I was trying to order another pair of wide leg black linen pants (since mine have a tiny pinhole starting on the leg) and I just love the style so much. I thought the tie around the ankle would drive me nuts like joggers do but they never rode up on my leg once all day.   I haven't had a pair of tan linen pants in years since I'm pretty picky about them; I don't like them lined but I don't want to them to be see through either but I f...
