It's the third Thursday of the month and time for another ageless style challenge. This month Bo picked back to school/ transitioning summer to fall. Since I'm not heading back to school I focused more on transitioning an outfit from summer into fall.  I wore this outfit to tour a college with Evan and had hoped to talk him into taking my photo on campus but he was not at all okay with that. I finally settled on some mirror selfies and called it good enough.    I paired my jumpsuit with some flip flops and a trio of gold hoop earrings. I love a good one and done outfit. Since it was going to be in the 80's I wanted something cool yet professional-ish looking.   To transition this outfit into fall I'd add a topper piece with sleeves. Since Amy asked, I thought I'd share my shopping haul. When I went shopping with my mom I had two items in mind that I was hoping to find: some white shorts and a pair of white linen pants. I didn't find white linen pants but I did find some shorts and lots of other great pieces I had no idea I was looking for! Everything came from 3 stores: Talbots, White House Black Market, and Loft.  Mostly I bought pants and shorts as I have plenty of summer tops already. I bought these casual white shorts at Talbots. They remind me of a thin sweatshirt material and they are oh so comfy!     I also found these teal capri pants; they are a similar weight and style to the shorts and I liked them so much I went and found them in white too!  The pink sweater above was from White House Black Market along with these dressier white shorts.  You can't really see but underneath that pink sweater above is a tank with spaghetti straps; Loft was having a 3 for $20 sale so I bought...

This month Amy picked beat the heat for our challenge.  Typically I turn to sleeveless tops and shorts when it's real hot out.    I love a good halter top with shorts and sandals! It's the third Thursday of the month and time for another ageless style challenge. This month Mireille picked tropical prints for our challenge. I am drawn to bright summer patterns and have so many in my closet. That said we've had a very cool spring and since all my tropical print things are sleeveless and better suited to warm weather I put together a compilation of old photos instead.  I often pair a brighter printed top with plain skirts and pants.  Or a brightly printed skirt or shorts with a plain top. It's the third Thursday of the month and time for another ageless style challenge. This month Marsha picked black and white for our challenge. I often pair black and white together as I like this classic combination a lot.   I hardly ever wear my white blazer but I thought this would be the perfect time. I paired it with a very casual black shirt, my jeans, and some booties.
