Linky Parties

Over the past year I'm trying to make more of a conscious effort to find and link up to other blogs.  Through Linky Parties I have grown my blog following, "met" lots of other bloggers that I just seemed to click with, and have read so many wonderful and inspiring blog posts.

Only problem is that I can never seem to remember from week to week which blog linkies I was using.  I often stumbled upon them quite by accident and it wasn't always so easy to find them a second time!




I finally started writing them down and while my list was quite messy it still did not include ALL of them (as I continued to stumble upon even more).  Often after a week or two I might notice I wasn't really fitting in with one group or another and would drop a group-- In other words my paper was a mess!

So I decided to write a page on my blog linking myself (and others!) up with my weekly linky spots.

    Great idea! I made a folder of favorites recently on my browser. I start it with a letter representing the day of the week that the linkup is for and then the name of the blog. There's so much out there it's hard to keep it straight!

    Hi Joanne, I'm almost finished writing a book, The Quiet Power of Blogging: Why Blogging Still Matters in a TicTok World. I have been working at compiling a list of link parties that are still going on. It seems like so many of them have disappeared. Do you still check in with most of these parties regularly? I know you do with Natalie's Weekend Coffee Share. I think that's how we met, actually.

      Yes, I did just update the list before responding as 3 of them seemed to have died out but the rest I try to visit regularly.
