Talking About it Tuesdays #83
Happy Tuesday! It's time for another Talking About it Tuesday party. I hope you have had a fabulous week and weekend since we last "talked." I sure did. Our weather has been beautiful and we enjoyed a day at the botanical gardens, a lovely kayak ride, a very informative college tour, and lots of time spent outdoors. I don't know what we'll do this week but I sure hope it will be fun too.
Now onto our party. We had so many wonderful posts submitted last week and it's always the best (and yet most difficult) to pick a few to feature and share. I see so many fun fall themed posts starting already and it's making me just a tiny bit excited for all things pumpkin and cozy and golden. But I still want to soak up these days of summer for as long as they'll last.
A few that caught my eye:

I feel the same way about fall and trying to soak up the last of summer while I can!
ReplyDeleteYep, I am like that every year; though at some point by mid- Sept. I give in and accept that summer is essentially over.
DeleteIt sounds like you're enjoying everything summer! I feel like we are, too, but it's hard when schools- college or otherwise start back up and schedules change. Thanks for the link up!
ReplyDeleteIt sure can be; though it helps when our weather is still so hot and muggy!
Deletethis year I'm determined to save fall til fall. let's see if i can stick to it.
ReplyDeleteI usually can make it until September at least... though our mornings definitely have that fall feel to them even if it's blazing hot by mid-day.
DeleteI always find this time of year so depressing as I never want to see summer come to an end. Thanks for the party!
ReplyDeleteI feel the same way; I'd happily live where we had a longer summer season!
DeleteJoanne,
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for taking the time to visit!!!
My Link Ups for today's party are # 18, 19 and 20!!
Thanks so much for hosting this charming party!!! I truly do appreciate it as I do know the time involved with it....I hope you and your family are well and enjoying your week!
Hugs,

You're welcome!
DeleteWe're in another heatwave here in the UK. Definitely enjoying summer and resisting temptation to talk about transitioning wardrobes and pumpkins just yet! Thanks for the link-up
ReplyDeleteYeah, it's been in the 90's here the past few days so it definitely feels like full on summer mode here too and that sure helps hold off those fall feelings.
DeleteI am excited for fall too! It sounds like a nice weekend and hope you enjoy the rest of your week!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteI forgot that more college visits are probably on your horizon! Fun! Thanks for another great party - that orange bundt cake caught my eye when I first saw it, too... Yum!
ReplyDeleteOur last one should be this week though we did find that at least one of the colleges he's interested in offers a shadow day so we'll take advantage of that this fall too.
DeleteGreat features, I love the idea of easy pillow covers and of course that Orange cake...thanks for the link-up!
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome!
DeleteSoak up that glorious weather!!
ReplyDeleteI'm trying to! I know that cold weather is just around the corner and I'm trying to soak up all the sunshine I can while I can.
DeleteNow that our last major Summer vacation ended, I admit that I am ready for Fall. I love cool, crisp evenings and am ready to give my poor air conditioning a rest. I love having the windows open while I am doing work. Have a wonderful week!
ReplyDeleteWe've already started in with some pretty cool mornings and evenings so I've noticed our air conditioner isn't turning on at all while we're in bed at night.... it's still warming up a lot during the day though so it's just a teasing of fall.
DeleteHello Joanne, thank you so much for the lovely party. That Bundt cake does look scrumptious
ReplyDeleteMy entries this week #53+54
Hope to see you also share with SSPS & HIH https://esmesalon.com/tag/seniorsalonpitstop/
You're welcome!
DeleteWe've also have been having beautiful weather here. I am looking forward to enjoying the rest of the summer. I hope you enjoy the rest of the week Joanne.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, Julie.
DeleteIt´s nice that you had good weather the last week so you had a lot of things you could do. Here with us summer has returned...and I will use it for some nice outings.
ReplyDeleteHave a good time
Violetta
We have been having some really hot and muggy days this week so we've been sticking much closer to home.
DeleteSoaking up summer here as well. Today we hit some of the less populated sites at Acadia National Park (as we wait for the tourists to go home!)
ReplyDeleteOh that sounds wonderful!
DeleteI really do love fall but we need at least one or two more swims and at least one more cookout before all is said and done!
ReplyDeleteYes, I love fall too but I'm not quite ready to embrace it just yet.
DeleteIf you ask me, summers should be at least 5 months longer. Thank you for hosting!
ReplyDeleteI'd be fine with that!
DeleteKathrine reminded me about me wanting to go to the botanical gardens here in Atlanta with her pictures: I am planning to go next week with one or two of my running friends. They have an Alice in Wonderland exhibit.

ReplyDeleteYou're welcome!
DeleteYou’re so lucky to enjoy such wonderful times outdoors. I feel fortunate this year that our temperatures are staying under 100. Hope it stays that way. Thanks for hosting, Joanne, and continue to enjoy your beautiful days.
ReplyDeleteI hope it stays under 100 for you too!
DeleteI love the idea for the pillow cover. That fabric is lovely. Very fresh and homely at the same time.
ReplyDeleteYes, I thought so too.
DeleteThank you so much for the feature! I need to try that bundt cake. Yum!
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome!
DeleteThanks so much for featuring my pillow cover! I hope it helps someone make an easy update!!
