Slices of Life

Technically these first three cards were made at the end of January but I didn't get to share them in January's post.  I worked on some fun folds and using a few card sketches I received from a fellow card maker.  I started putting together our Disney trip pages... it's not nearly as fun when there aren't many people in them and we didn't meet any characters to get photos taken with them.   You'll see lots of overlapping photos because I made pages for Evan's, Alec's, and our family album for each day of our trip. I was just so happy to get the whole trip done and now I can start on the Universal Studios pages.  The blank box is for journaling. Our final day at Disney was Wednesday and we went to check out the Animal Kingdom.  We didn't even get to the park until 9 since we elected to sleep in and skip our extra magic 1/2 hour (where parks are only open to resort guests).  This photo is actually a lie! At the last minute I swapped out my tank with the pink shirt I wore on park day one.  It was just so comfy!  Our first stop was in Pandora world. The river ride was beautiful!  After that we decided to go ride everything else since the wait for the Flight of Passage was long and all the other rides in the park only had a 15-20 minute wait.  We rode Expedition Everest,  Kali River Rapids. walked the jungle trek, and got some snacks (another Mickey bar for me!).  Can you see the giant fruit bats?
