Latest Macy's Haul

I often share my Amazon purchases with my readers but rarely think to talk about other things I've been buying. I don't think I shop around a whole lot but every now and then I do. Last Wednesday after my hair appointment I popped into our local mall (well, just the Macy's store really as there aren't many stores left in the mall). I wanted to find a plain white turtleneck and was hoping to find a pair of white sneakers with a bit of a platform heel. 

I found the turtleneck in minutes but also found that the sales were just irresistible. Most everything in the store was 50% off and while I wasn't looking for anything I did pop into the dressing rooms a few times. 

I walked out with 3 new pairs of shoes, 3 tops and 1 pair of pants. It's funny how much I find when I'm not looking and yet other times I can go shopping with intent and come home with nothing at all. I did link what I bought below but none of these are affiliate links. 

I wore my new sneakers all day the next day just to make sure they were comfy for a full day's use and they were.

I really wanted the sneakers and the turtleneck to make this outfit to wear to Evan's parents' weekend. It was a high in the 40's and we warned that it was mostly all outdoors.  

But the turtleneck also pairs so well with this adorable fleece pullover I found. 

$10 turtleneck, It's this fleece but for whatever reason the color/pattern isn't online. 

I found this outfit and thought it would work well for my husband's company Christmas party. You can't really tell in these photos but the sweater has some sparkles and shimmer to it.

And finally I spied these patent leather loafers and just could not resist. I love loafers and I've always been a sucker for patent leather but don't think I've owned the combo of the two since high school. The cute little ribbon detail did me in and they seem comfy.
