52 Lists week #19: The Things You Want to be Known For

This week's list: the things you want to be known for was pretty easy for me to write.

It may sound a bit morbid but I thought about what I'd like people to say about me at my funeral or when looking back on my life and thinking over what I was like.

When it comes right down to it I'm a pretty simple person with simple goals and ideals.

I want to be known as having been:

  • a wonderful and loving wife
  • a giving and loving mother
  • a fantastic teacher and leader
  • a giving and caring friend
  • a compassionate person
  • an intelligent person
  • a hard worker

  6. Yes, yes and yes to all of these. I often think about what I would want my kids to remember about me if I died...it does sound morbid, but it's really not! It helps me to be a better person.

    1. I think so too. Knowing how I want to be remembered helps me decide how I want to act today.

  7. I sometimes think it is morbid too, but it is what helps me to think about how I show myself to others and what I want them to truly see.
