Top 20 Posts from 2020 'til Now

 I often do a look back and pick out the most popular posts from the year and I've written one or two most popular of all time posts but I thought it would be fun to see what posts have been most popular since 2020. I decided to feature the top 20 posts of the last 5 years. 

Of course there is some overlap between last week's top 10 of 2025 and last year's most popular of all time but there were enough "new" posts  mixed into the favorites that I thought it would be fun to share. 

 


20.  Share Our Lives: How I Met my Husband-- published February 12, 2024 with 2,815 views-- This made me so happy to see in the top 20. I think our love story is cute but I love knowing my readers do too. 


 19. 2022 Disney/Universal Trip; Days #1 & 2 (Travel/Hotel & Magic Kingdom)-- published on August 29th 2022 with 2,824 views-- Oh I just LOVE our Disney trips and I'm thrilled that readers do too! Visiting the Magic Kingdom at the end of summer with teens was unlike any of our previous trips. 

 

 

18. Western Caribbean Cruise; Day 1: Boarding the Ship-- published January 15, 2024 and having 2,933 views-- another fun travel recap! It was our first time traveling on a Celebrity ship and we loved it. 

 

17. Favorite "Based on a True Story" Movies-- published January 12, 2024 and having 3,271 views. I guess I'm not the only one that likes movies based on a true story.


 16. Alec's SCAP (Senior Culinary Arts Project) Assignment and Meal-- published February 22, 2024 this has gotten 3,271 views and I could not be more thrilled. We LOVED Alec's meal and am so proud of him. 


 15. This or That: Thanksgiving Edition-- published November 23, 2022 with 3,515 views. This was such a fun and quick post to pull together. 


 14. My Favorite Romantic Comedy Movies-- published on January 13, 2023 with 3.536 views. I love that so many others love the old rom-coms like me. 


 13. Favorite Comedy Movies-- Published April 14, 2023 with 4,358 views. I am so relieved to know I didn't waste my time putting these "list" posts together. 


 12. Alec's Accepted Student Day at JWU-- published March 22, 2024-- I had never heard of an accepted student day and we were thrilled to go (and document!) this day. 


 11. Throwback Tuesday: The ABC's of Homeschooling-- published March 11, 2025 with 5,427 views. I can't believe this old post from 2015 is still going so strong! 

 

10. Would You Rather; Fall Edition-- published October 21, 2022 with 5,541 views. A very quick post to pull together filled with throwback photos! 

 

 

9. Vegetable Fried Rice-- published March 13, 2025 with 5,555 views. I love that everyone seems to love one of our all time favorite family recipes as well. 


 8. Hodgepodge Wednesdays: Let's Talk Italy-- published March 12, 2025 with 6,075 views. 

 

 

7. My Favorite Summer Beach Read Authors-- published June 23, 2023 with 6,536 views. Oh I just love a good reading list and am thrilled so many readers have found their way to this post! 


 6. My Favorite Historical Fiction Novels About WWI & WWII-- published March 4, 2020 with 8,654 views.  Another one of my favorite reading genres! 

 

5. 10 Most Popular Posts of All Time- published December 13, 2024 with 8, 665 views I think it's so funny that a most popular post round up made this list! 

 

 

4. Throwing a Fabulous 70th Birthday Party at the Last Minute-- published January 11, 2024 this post keeps going strong with 10,277 views.  

 

3. Let's Look At... Our Medicine Cabinet-- published February 7, 2023 with 15,648 views. And nearly 3 years later our cabinet still looks just like this! It's so easy to keep organized with bins. 


 2. Things That Make Me Laugh- published April 1, 2020 with 38,700 views- everyone loves to laugh! 


 1. Favorite TV Shows Growing Up in the 80's and Early 90's-- published January 19, 2024 with 125,603 views, this post took off far more than I ever could have imagined!

  8. It’s so much fun to look back and see which stories really resonated, and I’m not surprised at all that the 80s and 90s nostalgia took the top spot! It must be such a proud mama moment to see Alec’s culinary project making the list right alongside your travel adventures and family traditions.

  11. I think it's always fun to look back! I hadn't read about how you met your husband, so of course I had to read it now. Very cute...we had a similar story, friends since middle school, but didn't start dating until we were in our 20s. Love the old pics!!
