 I hope you are enjoying this series as much as I am!  I think you can tell by my previous two posts I really LOVE watching movies.  After sharing my favorite romantic comedies (here) and my favorite action movies (here) I just knew it was time to share my favorite comedies!  I am sure I am forgetting a few but these are all my favorite comedy movies that I could think of off the top of my head.

  2. Ok how come I haven't seen so many of these? Geesh I am slacking! Anyway Legally Blonde is a fave here too AND Mrs. Doubtfire but that one tears at my heartstrings too :)

  6. I haven't seen a lot of these and I don't love slapstick comedies, but I do enjoy Big and Mrs. Doubtfire a lot!

    1. I'm not a huge slapstick comedy fan either... movies like Dumb and Dumber just make me roll my eyes but sometimes there are some that do make me laugh despite myself (like Austin Powers!).

  8. Wow So many that I haven't seen. I don't watch a lot of comedies but one of my favourite comedies is Fun with Dick and Jane. The one with Jim Carrey and Téa Leonie.

  9. Love all of your choices! My daughter and I saw the new Mario Bros movie (it was awesome) and one of the previews was a 2nd Book Club movie is coming out! Looks good!

  10. Ahh! You have reminded me of so many films that I have forgotten about. I need to find where The Birdcage is streaming, I haven't seen that in years and Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure.

    1. We re-watched Bill and Ted with our boys so I've seen that one somewhat recently and I own The Birdcage on DVD.

  13. Soooo many good ones! I absolutely LOVE Book Club. It's a favorite for sure! You can never go wrong with Diane Keaton! They're doing a Book Club 2 soon, too!

  20. Lots of great choices here, I didn't watch them all but many especially the older ones as I don't watch many movies anymore. One not listed here but highly recommend is from the 80's - "Pure Luck" with Martin Short.

  21. So many great movies. I LOVED Mr. Mom growing up...and Big is such a great one. I was just telling Hadley about Legally Blonde...she's never seen it.
