Monthly Meal Planning-- Menu #9

We did pretty good with our monthly menu but I did have to change it up a few times when unexpected illnesses or plans cropped up.

1. Turkey noodle soup with homemade bread (my husband had a short little 24-48 hour bug and I thought soup might help him feel better).

2. Pesto pasta with mixed vegetables and salad.

3. Alec, my husband and I headed to the fair while Ian and Evan went out to dinner with their grandmother.

4. We ended up getting take out pizza with my mother in law after helping her move into her house.

5. Grilled pineapple teriyaki chicken with green beans, corn on the cob, and salad.

6. Spaghetti with meatballs and sauce, garlic bread, and salad.

7. Shake n Bake pork chops with roasted potatoes and corn on the cob

8. Homemade pizzas with salad.  We used the Skinnybiz pizza dough and really enjoyed them!

9. Italian herb marinated chicken with squash casserole and steamed broccoli

10. Chicken/ orzo one dish meal with salad.

11. My husband took the boys to the movies so I didn't have to cook dinner.

12. Roast beef, mashed potatoes, peas and salad.

13. Grilled bluefish with assorted roasted squash and rice (Alec made tacos for himself and his brothers).

14. Burgers,  hot dogs, salad and chips (I just had a salad)

The only points for the whole meal was the croutons

15. Stuffed acorn squash (Alec made chicken nuggets, egg noodles, and broccoli for himself and his brothers)

16. Weight Watchers Tuscan chicken pasta with salad.

It may not look like much but I think this was my favorite meal of the month!

17. Pulled pork baked potato boats with salad.

18.  Weight Watchers American Chop Suey

19. Grilled steak, roasted potatoes, corn on the cob and salad.

20. Chicken noodle soup with French bread

21. BLT Grinders with chips and salad (I had a roasted veggie grinder with butternut squash fries)

My veggie grinder was delicious! Roasted zucchini, mushrooms, and onions topped with fat free cheese, sliced tomato and romaine lettuce

22. We tried a new recipe: chicken with parmesan rice but I altered the recipe to be more WW friendly.

23. Pot roast with twice baked potatoes and steamed broccoli.

24.  Homemade waffles, bacon, and fresh fruit.

25. Chicken Parmesan casserole with pasta and sauce, garlic bread, and salad.

26. Burger & cheese quesadillas with fries/ butternut squash fries and salad (I made vegetable quesadillas for myself).

27. Sausage and tortellini soup with Challah bread.

28. Ham, potato salad, and green beans

29. Homemade pizzas (again!) with salad.

30.  Pulled beef grinders (a new recipe) with fried potatoes and salad.
