Transitioning from Summer to Fall with Ageless Style
It's the third Thursday of the month and time for another ageless style challenge. This month Bo picked back to school/ transitioning summer to fall. Since I'm not heading back to school I focused more on transitioning an outfit from summer into fall.
To transition this outfit into fall I'd add a topper piece with sleeves. I tried on 3 different jackets I had that would pair well with this jumpsuit.

| my favorite is this black linen blazer though |
I could have swapped out my shoes too for something more "fall" like booties or sneakers but our flip flop season is far too short to give them up before the weather gets really cold and I can't wear them anymore.

I like the black linen blazer, too! I have a black linen blazer- I need to wear it more :).
ReplyDeleteI don't think to wear mine all that often either!
DeleteI love a blazer! That looks great on you!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteLove the blazers with the maxi dresses- such a sharp look- you look great!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteYou mean your son wasn't ok taking fashion photos of you on his campus? Why Not? :). I love your jumpsuit. The colors are perfect for transitioning to fall.
ReplyDeleteHa; his exact wording was "I have far too much social anxiety to set up a tripod and take photos in public."
DeleteI always transition to fall with a jean jacket.
ReplyDeleteI was thinking after I posted this that I also have a denim jean jacket I would've paired with it but I couldn't find it at the time. It has since turned up.. in our dining room.
DeleteI love the dark print! So cute with all of these toppers but the black linen is my favorite too!

Thank you!
DeleteI smiled when you said your son was not ok with taking your picture on campus, lol! Love this jumpsuit and I feel like this would be a perfect teacher outfit too!

DeleteOh man - it is time to start thinking about fall clothes, isn't it. I love the dress with the blazer!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteWhat a great idea.
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteI can't believe Evan passed up a chance of taking fashion photos of you at a college campus ;-) The jumper looks great with the blazers. The black one is my favorite too. I like the 3/4 sleeves.

Thank you!
DeleteI think this was such a good way of showing how one piece, your jumpsuit, can be worn so many ways! My granddaughter, when she takes my photos, is always a little reticent, at first. But, I pay her so she's OK with that!

Yes, money certainly helps!
DeleteWhat a great jumpsuit...so chic on its own and looks super with all the other jackets for fall!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much!
DeleteThe blazer with your outfit is beautiful. I may have to go shopping for one.
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteI thought your jumpsuit was a dress! I like it. The jacket is a great way to make it suitable for colder temperatures too. I'm a cardigan girl myself. I don't own any jackets.
ReplyDeleteI own a few cardigans as well.
DeleteThis blazer looks fabulous with this chic jumpsuit!

I do too!
DeleteOoooh, I do love it with the black linen blazer, too! That's definitely my favorite combo. You look great!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteCollege tour, wow. How are you feeling about him leaving? My oldest is of to university but gets to live at home. Anyway, I love this jumpsuit and blazers are the perfect topper!
ReplyDeleteHis older brother is already off at university so I'm not nearly as nervous about him leaving home.. though I do worry about HIM at college since he's not nearly as outgoing and social as his brother.
DeleteWhat a great transition, I prefer the black jacket too. The outfit looks great on you.
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteWhat a beautiful outfit that can be transitioned so easily with class and style. Yet, it looks so comfortable too!!! I love a good simple blazer that you can add to things like this.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much!
DeleteI agree with you - my flip flops/crocs stay out as long as possible since our warm weather feels limited this time of year! Your outfit is so cute and I love all three jacket options!
ReplyDeleteAw, thank you!
DeleteI love your jumpsuit! You look fab, Joanne. I think I like it best with the jean jacket. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteI was just thinking I need to add some blazers to my wardrobe! You look beautiful in all of these.
ReplyDeleteAw, thank you so much!
