I hope you had a lovely weekend. Our weather warmed up rather suddenly and we had a big high school graduation party to attend. I was so relieved they had nice weather for it. We've been having some very rainy weekends all spring. Though I know it's officially summer so maybe our forecast is finally changing?
 
 Can you believe this is the last Tuesday of the month already? I feel like June just flew right by. I am loving all the pretty summer crafts, outfit, and travel posts everyone is linking up!

      Oh it's definitely hot here too; it was supposed to hit 100 today. But at least we had a full weekend without rain... finally!

    The weather warmed up here and now it's so hot! I can't believe it's the last Tuesday in June. I hate when summer speeds by!

      Oh I know, it's definitely a "be careful what you wish for" kind of week. It went from 60 to upper 90's overnight. Currently it says it feels like 104 outside and I believe it.

      Oh yes, I have definitely been living indoors and with temps into the 100's I don't think even our air conditioner has been able to keep up!

      We're having a heat wave here too but after 13 weekend of rain it was nice to have a sunny one... even it was scorching hot.

      That is a great way to beat the heatwave; we're mostly just living in the air conditioning. 104 is just too hot for me even with water nearby! I hope you found some great ideas for the 4th.

    Summer has arrived in full force! It’s HOT! Hot! Hot!
    My flowers are doing well and the AC is working. So I can’t complain. Right??
    I was just in Mackinac Island and I was wearing a jacket!

      That's how I feel, it's HOT here too but the AC is on and we're no longer complaining about the cold and the rain.

    When you said it was the last weekend in June coming up I actually felt a bit sick. How has it gone by so fast?! Oh my gosh! This summer has been so mild. I've enjoyed. The last four days we have been in a brutal heatwave, though. I have been less than thrilled.

    Astronomic summer has begun and the temperatures have rosen up to more than 30 ° Celsius here. And I hear people complain when in July or August the temperature falls about a bad summer....

Do you remember the TGIF lineups on Friday nights? I can remember planning sleepovers and time with friends around TV Show lineups of our favorite shows... or else trying to set the VCR to record our favorite shows if we weren't going to be home. Things That Make Me Laugh

I loved the challenge of this week's list for our 26 lists link up.  I don't know about you but I really need to laugh more lately.  It's such a great stress reliever. 1.  Books-- I love a good funny book that makes me laugh out loud.  I haven't read one in a while but if you have any recommendations I'm all ears.  The last book I can remember making me laugh was the Un-Honeymooners. 2  The boys being silly. 3.  Watching shows like America's Funniest Videos or Family Feud. 4. My husband.  Most people don't realize it but he's actually pretty funny and often makes me laugh. 5.  Whenever my sisters/ family get together and we get to reminiscing (particularly if my Aunt Elaine is around) we end up laughing so hard at all the old family stories that we are all in tears by the end of the night.  It's fabulous. 6. Movies like Mom's Night Out, Christmas Vacation, and Grown Ups make me laugh out loud. 7.  When my ...

Summer Bucket List 2025

 With the official start of summer this past Friday, the bucket list bloggers thought today would be a good day to share our summer bucket lists.   In no particular order here are some of the things I hope to accomplish this summer:  1. Go to Glacier National Park    2. Celebrate several graduations with extended family  3. Birthday shopping/lunch with my mom 4. Spend lots of time with family and friends 5. Try a new CSA (community supported agriculture) and lots of new recipes 6. Make our own pickles, jam, and marinara sauce   7. Visit the farmer's markets 8. Eat lots of meal outside 9. Get to the beach 10. Go kayaking a time or two 11. Celebrate 4th of July with the whole family 12. See some fireworks 13. Make some homemade ice cream 14. Go to the zoo once the new cheetah cubs are out 15.  Check out a new museum or nature preserve 16. Visit a new to me restaurant 17. Put together a new puzzle 18. Paint some new paintings 19. Spring Photo Challenge 2025

One of my spring goals was to use my "real" camera more often so I went in search of a photo challenge I could participate in for spring. Styling Tropical Prints with Ageless Style

It's the third Thursday of the month and time for another ageless style challenge. This month Mireille picked tropical prints for our challenge. I am drawn to bright summer patterns and have so many in my closet. That said we've had a very cool spring and since all my tropical print things are sleeveless and better suited to warm weather I put together a compilation of old photos instead.  I often pair a brighter printed top with plain skirts and pants.  Or a brightly printed skirt or shorts with a plain top.
