Western Caribbean Cruise; Day 2

 Day 2 was an "at sea" day. We lazed around in our room for a bit,  ate breakfast,  then spent the rest of the morning at the pool. 








Just before lunch we showered and changed then ate lunch and played some movie trivia..


We had a great view from our lunch seats


 
We lost with 22 points to a team with 27! 

We got some afternoon ice cream and relaxed in our room until nearly dinner. 

I tried the cinnamon gelato
It was a dressy night


We went back to the Tuscan restaurant for dinner (our ship has 4 main dining rooms that we can pick from each night)

roasted pumpkin and burrata salad

I do not remember the name of this pasta dish but it was delicious!

After dinner we watched the acrobatics show before calling it a night.

      It was a lot of fun; I struggled a lot when they asked for producers or directors but anything having to do with songs and storylines was easy peasy!

      I was surprised we did so well; I rarely know actor or director's names but between the two us we did know a lot of it (and those we got wrong I didn't know even after they told us the answers so I didn't feel bad!).

Favorite TV Shows Growing Up in the 80's and early 90's

Do you remember the TGIF lineups on Friday nights? I can remember planning sleepovers and time with friends around TV Show lineups of our favorite shows... or else trying to set the VCR to record our favorite shows if we weren't going to be home. 10 on the 10th: 10 Things I May do in May

 It's time for the 10 on the 10th link up with Marsha and this month she's asked us to list 10 things we can and/or may do in May. 5 Things I CAN do now that it's May: 1. May is typically the time of year we CAN begin planting flowers and getting pots ready. I'm holding off until Memorial day weekend just in case we still have some cold frost-filled nights.  2. We CAN (sometimes!) eat outside now that May has arrived. We MAY have done that earlier this week for an early Mother's day lunch with my mom. And, no we did not plan our matching pink outfits. 3. Some of My Favorite Shows and Movies I've Been Watching

A couple of times now I've tried to get into the habit of sharing a bit more regularly what we've been watching. I don't know about you but I often struggle with what to watch when one show ends... I try many shows and often get just an episode or a season in before I end up giving up on it.  Most of the shows we stream are NOT new shows. I tend to look for shows that have multiple seasons already lined up so once I get invested in the characters and storylines I don't have to wait around for new episodes to come out (but there are some shows we do watch as they air).  There have been a few shows we've really enjoyed lately. Royal Pains is our latest show we're watching and while we're only 1/2 way through season 2 I am really enjoying it:  Hank is a doctor that has retreated to the Hamptons to lick his wounds after losing his job, his fiancée, and most of his belongings.
