My Favorite Animated Movies
I've been having so much fun with this series but I'm starting to run out of movie genres to focus on! I have always been a fan of animated movies and while this list could have been so much longer I decided to focus on those movies that I feel like I've seen a million or so times.
1. The Little Mermaid
2. Beauty and The Beast
3. Toy Story (all of them!)
4. 101 Dalmatians
5. Finding Nemo
6. Despicable Me
7. Ice Age
8. Turning Red
9. Madagascar
10. Kung Fu Panda
11. An American Tale
12. Aladdin
13. The Lion King
14. The Rescuers
15. Shrek
16. Big Hero 6
17. The Jungle Book
18. Gnomeo & Juliet
19. The Wild
20. Monsters Inc.
21. Rio

So many fun animated movies here! I watched most of these with my kids when they were little. They still love animated movies and the other day they were telling me that I have to watch the latest Puss In Boots. According to them, it's the best movie they have ever seen!

I watched a few growing up and a few with my kids growing up. I would definitely be up for watching the latest Puss In Boots.
DeleteSuch a great collection! Little Mermaid is my fave too :)
ReplyDeleteI can remember pausing the movie and drawing from it all the time in high school.
DeleteThis made me smile. You know I’m going to be watching all the animated movies with those granddaughters to be. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteYou sure will!!
DeleteYes to all the Disney movies!
ReplyDeleteI'm a huge Disney fan!
DeleteI love most of these. I forgot about Turning Red. That is a really good one.
ReplyDeleteAlec made me watch it last year when we were at Disney and I just thought it was so adorable. Of course Alec's favorite animal has always been a red panda (he even dressed up like one for Halloween one year!).
DeleteHi Joanne! Despicable Me was CRAZY FUN to watch with our teenaged grandkids! They knew every line, every nuance. Now that I think of it, they were funnier than the movie itself!!
ReplyDeleteIt really is hilarious! My boys know so many of the movies by heart too.
DeleteThere are so many fantastic animated movies. I don't think I have found one that I am not a fan of.
ReplyDeleteI have found a few; but not many. I don't like The Nightmare Before Christmas or The Secret Life of Pets.
DeleteWe always love animated movies too. Maybe because there's usually a happy ending. There's a couple of these I haven't seen, so thanks for the list.

Yes, I like the happy ending aspect too.
DeleteI've seen most of these and really liked them. Have you seen the live action Little Mermaid? It was a little disconcerting trying to figure out what was real and what was CGI. It just confused me when it probably shouldn't have.

I have not yet. It is amazing what they can do with CGI nowadays.
DeleteYour can't go wrong with any of these!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteBeauty and the Beast will always and forever be my favorite! Followed by The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, and The Lion King. All of those came out when I was little, so I grew up with them!
ReplyDeleteThose are probably the 4 I've watched the most.
DeleteSo many great movies on here! Many of my favorites too

Thank you!
DeleteAw, what a great list! We love all of these and especially Shrek and the Toy Story set. :)
ReplyDeleteThose are both so cute and so funny!
DeleteWe haven’t watched Despicable Me yet, but I’ve heard from so many people how cute it is! We will need to add it to our list!
ReplyDeleteLauren @ Don’t Mind Our Mess
Definitely! I love those little minions.
DeleteWe love animated movies! I miss watching them as a family now that the kids are older! I do love some of the newer Disney movies like Moana, Encanto and Frozen. They have some good music! But of course the classics will always be a fave!
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed Encanto and Frozen too but I think since I haven't watched them over and over again like the others they just don't seem like favorites but ones I enjoyed. Though I do know so many of the songs from all 3 that you mentioned.
DeleteA nice list here. Beauty and the Beast is a classic.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely!
DeleteI won't say any of these are my favs but have seen them all with the grandbabies and didn't realize how many years of going to the movies with them that we've done until I looked at your list here. Some of them that I enjoyed were Shrek, Ratatouille, Cars, and Ice Age :)
ReplyDeleteOh what fun memories! I'm pretty sure we watched nearly all of these at home...
DeleteLooking back at the list, I do see some that were before my grandbabies were born so yeah, we watched those at home. Anything in the 2000s though were seen at the theater.
DeleteWe're just working our way through the Toy Story movies and I love Ratatouille! We also like Boss Baby and love the Sing movies!
ReplyDelete#MMBC
I did enjoy Sing but I have never seen Boss Baby.
DeleteYour movie posts are so fun! I've seen all of these except The Wild! I could watch animated movies all the time.
