Highlights and Favorites; One Sentence a Day in October

We had a pretty good October-- I mean the bar was set pretty low after the death of my father in August and then our car accident/fender bender in September and I really felt like we were "due" for a low key good month.

One new thing I'm trying to get in the habit of starting this month is listing where my clothing items are from with a link back where I can. It has not been an easy practice to put into play but I'm hoping it will get easier the more I do it.

**You'll notice much of my clothing pieces are Stitch fix pieces-- I started getting Stitch Fix boxes back in 2021 (you can see box #2 here/ box #1 was returned)... and I still have every single one of those pieces! Some boxes hit better than others but nearly all my "favorites" are from Stitch Fix and if I find myself reaching for the same item over and over and can sense it's going to be a favorite I'll put in an order for that same garment in other colors and patterns if that's available. I have a referral code here if you want to try them out-- you get $35 off your first order.

  3. I just finished Hollow Bones yesterday! Wow! That story will stick with me. I also read Jodi's Wish You Were Here and that stuck with me. Now I am reading the last Emma M. Lion and a lighter book Abby Offsides. I can't do two deep books back to back.
You were literally a hiking machine in October! Do you have to drive to your hikes? I feel like you do. But, I am amazed at all the hiking you have close to you.
