Talking About it Tuesday #140
Goodness, that month went fast! I can't believe Thursday is already October and my parents will be leaving to head back to North Carolina. The time just flies.
We had a fun and relaxing weekend with an overnight stay at Foxwoods Resort and Casino seeing a show and enjoying a lovely dinner. We also had a whole lot of rain so when we weren't away we were curled up inside. I hope you all had a lovely weekend too.

I cannot believe it's going to be October! September just flew. Thank you for the shoutout! I'm sure you are sad when your parents head south. Do you plan to visit them this year? I know you would prefer not to get stuck again! Thank you for the link up. There's so much good stuff to read.
ReplyDeleteMy aunt's husband is celebrating his 90th in June so at least me (and maybe someone else?) will probably head down for that weekend but I have no plans to visit over the winter.
DeleteSeptember did go by fast, and we've been getting a lot of rain too. It's been hard enjoying fall activities with all the rain.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I'm feeling some cabin fever kicking in already. Hopefully the rest of this week will be nice.
DeleteThank you for featuring my post about our trip to Prague!
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome!
DeleteJoanne,
ReplyDeleteGlad you had a nice weekend despite all the rain...It rained all weekend here too along with Monday...

Yeah, I was so happy to wake up to no rain (yet!) today. It looks cloudy but I think the storm has truly passed by.
DeleteGlad you had a nice week. We had a fabulous Fall weekend. I enjoyed several of last weeks posts! I am so glad so many join in on this party. Congratulations to everyone!
ReplyDeleteAnd I can’t believe October is on Thursday! Wow!
Happy Tuesday Joanne.🍁
Thank you!

DeleteSeptemer was a blur for me! Thanks for hosting the link up!
ReplyDeleteMe too!
DeleteI'm sure you enjoyed your parents' visit! It is hard to believe that September is over. Fall comes early to the high elevations in Colorado and arrives to our front range area in October, so I enjoy the long autumn season before the snow arrives.
ReplyDeleteWe have quite a bit of color here already but it won't peak until mid-October usually.
DeleteOh, my mouth is watering as I look at the features! Thanks for hosting, Joanne!
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome!
DeleteHappy Tuesday, Joanne! I too can't believe that the first of October is only a few days away! I'm glad you had a fun getaway despite the weather you were getting! Thanks for hosting us - we always look forward to linking up and we appreciate all the time and love you put into hosting us each week! Today we're sharing #21 and #22. Enjoy these last few days of September!
ReplyDeleteThank you!

You're welcome!
DeleteWe just got our power back after being out for several days from this weekend's nor'easter. Trying to catch up now! Glad you had a relaxing weekend!!
ReplyDeleteUgh, I am so sorry you lost power for several days. I honestly thought that would be us too-- we lose power all the time. Somehow we miraculously kept it on this time.
DeleteSo many yummy looking recipes. I hardly know where to start. Thanks for hosting.

DeleteI am glad September is over, I am praying that October is filled with God's grace and good health for my mom. September was hard, but there were some good moments too here and there... Some weddings and some dates and the weather cooling off!
