Riverwalk Trip in August
I took myself on a photography walk just over two weeks ago now. When I think of "town" this is what I picture... which is rather funny because it's not the town I live in but it is the town I grew up in and is close enough that I never stopped thinking of it as my town.
My photos loaded in a completely random order but that's okay. While I enjoy the nature and the river I really need to remember to bring some earbuds or headphones with me next time as the cars passing by on the road are rather loud. I was listening to an audiobook on my phone while walking and snapping photos but kept having to pause it when I couldn't hear.

So pretty! It's hard to imagine heavy traffic nearby. Visiting from SSPS.
ReplyDeleteIt is hard to imagine but the path follows right along the roadside; I just creatively cropped it out.
DeleteThat looks like a great place to explore and take a walk. You took so many interesting photos.
ReplyDeleteThank you!

DeleteThat is just so pretty and calming - without the traffic noise! I love that you did that!
ReplyDeleteThanks! I'm trying to get out hiking/walking at least a couple of a times a week. It's definitely different alone but I figure the more I do it the more "normal" it will feel.

ReplyDeleteExactly!
DeleteVery nice! I love all the water. I will need to schedule some photography walks, it will be a great way to get to know some of our nearby towns!
ReplyDeleteOh yes, that would be fun!
DeleteLove how photos can tell it's own story.

Me too!
DeleteThat looks like such a lovely town! And I especially liked the statue of the sheep!
ReplyDeleteThanks! They do those as fund raisers-- local artists all get the same shape statue in white and can paint/decorate it then after they display them all around they get auctioned off.

DeleteYour hometown is just beautiful, Joanne! The river that flows through my hometown is not well maintained and doesn't look pretty at all. Thanks for sharing this with us.

Aw, thank you!
DeleteI spy some really pretty older looking charming homes in the background. So pretty!!
ReplyDeleteYes, we have lots of older homes and so many people have done a great job resorting them.
DeleteWhat a beautiful spot to walk -- I'd want to walk there every day. I just love the colorful cows.
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteBeautiful photos! And so much greenery.
ReplyDeleteYep, we have had a decent amount of rain; I mean our rivers and lakes and things are drier than they should be but we've had enough rain to keep the plants flourishing.
