A Pop of Color with Ageless Style
It's the third Thursday of the month and time for another ageless style challenge. This month I picked a pop of color for our theme. I figured it would be easy since I tend to wear more bright colors in spring and summer.
I often pair bright patterned Lily Pulitzer tops with something a bit more plain for a fun pop of color.
Some colors like these teal pants from Talbots I just can't resist, always knowing that if nothing in closet matches them exactly I can pair them with neutrals.

I'm a big fan of neutral as a base and then adding some color. Lilly tops are a great way to add pretty splashes of color!

DeleteI am the same - my spring and summer clothes are really colorful and my fall and winter definitely go more muted. I enjoy changing this with the seasons, though.
ReplyDeleteI'm fine with that too. Though I am hoping to add a bit more purple to both my fall and my summer wardrobe.
DeleteYou've got some great combos there. The first one is my favorite.

DeleteOh, the colorful pants are my favorite especially the aqua ones! I have a pair of green pants I wear a lot in the fall, they are Kelly green and I tend to pair them with grey tees.

DeleteYou look fantastic wearing bright colors. I personally prefer to wear tan, jeans, white, black slacks, skirt or capri with either one color or multi colored top. I really like your third picture wearing white capri with the pastel sleeveless top and sandals!

DeleteThese are all such great outfits on you, Joanne! I really like how bright colors look so different when paired with a dark solid versus a light solid. It can make the same garment look like an entirely new piece. You always looks so bright and cheerful in your outfit pairings!
