Late Spring/Early Summer Garden Photos

I took my big camera and zoom lens out into the yard over the weekend and snapped some photos of things that are blooming in my garden right now.

Nearly all my lilies are in bloom; though I do have two more plants that have lots of buds but haven't bloomed yet.

My hydrangeas are just starting to bloom.

My honeysuckle plant has been in our garden forever and I don't think I've ever seen a year with so many blooms on it. I took a lot of photos because I think these might make a great painting.

  12. I love the photos! My daylilies are starting to bloom, too. I need to plant some other lilies, but I'm pretty sure the bunnies would eat them.

    1. I haven't had problems with that but something ate all the leaves off my coral rose bush last year and it never recovered... I still have no idea what it was that did that.

    1. Honestly? I just walk around the garden center and when something catches my eye I bring it home, plant it in the ground, and hope for the best.. if it dies I try something else in that place next time. It's been a lot of trial and error over the years!
