Talking About it Tuesdays #122
I hope those of you that live in the states had a lovey Memorial Day weekend. Ours was pretty cold and wet and quiet but relaxing all the same. I just love this time of year where everyone is showcasing all their pretty nature photos, trips, yummy spring/summer recipes. I know not everyone is enjoying spring and preparing for summer as we have a few from the southern hemisphere joining in each week (which I love!) but somehow it always looks lovely in your photos.

This party will remain open until the weekend. My hope is that everyone will share all sorts of wonderful posts: travel, recipes, how to's, crafting ideas, and more-- up to 3 posts per blog. Anything that is family friendly is welcome; even old posts that you'd like to get some new views.

DeleteIt started getting hot here a few days ago which doesn't make me (as in my body) happy. I love seeing spring and summer pictures, but I'll be hiding in the dark until fall.
ReplyDeleteCat (Blogger has been weird about letting me comment, so I had to use Gundel's account)
So weird how Blogger does that sometimes!

ReplyDeleteOurs got real warm Monday night as soon as the rain finished.
DeleteWhat a great party you throw! Thank you so much!
ReplyDeleteWe started out wet but then it turned sunny. And it is staying dry all week. Plus I get to see my grandson at the end of the week.
Thanks for the party. I am off to read some.
You're welcome! We should have a mostly dry week but it does look like rain for the coming weekend again.

DeleteThanks for hosting, Joanne! We took some long hikes on our neighborhood trails, as the weather was beautiful. There are not many wildflowers visable as yet, but the rain made everything green.
ReplyDeleteOh that sounds wonderful.
DeleteGive me all of the lemon this time of year! Now I need to head to Pinterest to pull some more lemon recipes :)

Deleteit was wet most of the weekend here but it cleared up nicely for Memorial Day so we had a nice day luckily. Thank your for hosting as always.
ReplyDeleteThat is nice.
DeleteOurs was cold and wet, too. We watched a lot of movies and did some crafty things! Thanks for the party!!
ReplyDeleteI thought I would do more crafty things but despite my best intentions to start scrapbooking our trip I didn't do any crafts!
DeleteYikes we have had a lot of rain, but then again, I don't have to water the garden!
ReplyDeleteWe had planted grass seed on Saturday just before the rain came through and I did think that was such a time saver-- especially since we just had a nice steady rain.
DeleteAw, you're welcome, Debbie!
ReplyDeleteEven though your Memorial Day was cold and wet, I’m glad it was still relaxing. Thank you so much for hosting, Joanne, and hopefully your week will warm up.
ReplyDeleteThank you! It warmed up a lot. Monday was 50 and by Monday night it was in the 70's.
DeleteI'm behind after the holiday, trying to catch up. At least your Memorial Day was relaxing and really, we all need that!
ReplyDeleteWe sure do!
