What I've been Priming Lately
I haven't shared a Prime Purchases post yet in 2026 so I thought I'd pull together a list to share for today's post... I am, however, skipping over Evan's dorm supplies that we've primed because I plan to write a whole separate post later on all his dorm things.

Over the last 3 months we've bought:
My husband uses this body wash and it's not always easy to find. We find the 3 pack on Amazon is the best bang for our buck and then I don't have to worry about ordering any again for a long while.
I also like to stock up on batteries through Amazon. We bought this AAA pack and this AA pack.
My husband only uses this brand and flavor of granola and again we (often) find this 6 pack is a better deal than we can find at any of our local stores.
Our sink drain stoppers were looking so awful and even running them through the dishwasher was just not getting them clean so I decided to order this 2 pack; they fit our dual drains perfectly and look so shiny again!
I had bought Ian a nice, new, thicker pillow top mattress pad but our washing machine made a few small holes in it the last time I washed it so I bought this iron on fabric patch to use.
I had bought a pair of these jeggings in navy years and years ago and I finally wore a hole in the seam but I wear them a lot in spring so I decided to buy the exact same pair and color again.
I ordered this scarf in 2 different prints-- the pink & yellow blossoms & the oil painting irises
When Alec went back to school I found I was really missing his microplane zester so I bought my own.
I also really missed his electric kettle and bought this one for us.
I needed some under the bed storage containers and bought this 4 pack on wheels. I needed an archival ink/stamp cleaner; it works well.
I was inspired by a few paintings we saw in North Carolina to try and use masking medium again; I vaguely remember using some in my watercolor class at art school. I bought this... but haven't used it yet.
I also fell in love with this tulip set-- 3-d Embossing folder & stencil and was only able to find it on Amazon since Spellbinders discontinued it.
I bought myself a new set of markers-- I love the variety of colors but you can definitely tell it's a cheaper set as it just feels cheap but they work really well.
I bought this probiotic to try as not all probiotics treat the same area of the gut. This one seems to work best for what we needed.
My mom suggested giving vitamin E capsules a try since it seems like every shampoo on the market makes Evan's scalp all red and itchy (despite the dermatologist and allergist saying he has no allergies). We bought these to try.
Lastly I bought these compression packing cubes-- now admittedly I have far more packing cubes than I'd really ever use unless I tried to pack everything I own BUT I LOVE how these compress and become even smaller after packing them.

A lot of really good finds! We buy our batteries at Sam's Club for what seems like a good price. I'll bet Amazon's prices are good, too, for what you get. New sink drain stoppers- that's a good idea. I've become oddly obsessed with keeping ours clean- how wonderful to realize I can order a new one when I can't keep ours spotless. Great purchases!
ReplyDeleteWe used to get our batteries at BJ's but I can't remember the last time we went there!
DeleteI always enjoy seeing what you have found on Amazon. I also stock up on batteries. Love the pretty scarf you found. Sadly I can't make any orders at the moment because there are very few planes landing in our country.
ReplyDeleteAw, I am so sorry to hear that.
DeleteLove the scarfs- perfect accessory for spring!
ReplyDeleteI think so too!
DeleteGreat list of mostly necessities. What would we do without Amazon? I have started checking prices and Amazon is often cheaper.
ReplyDeleteI keep an eye on prices too and yep, Amazon is often cheaper.
DeleteI love that the underbed storage has wheels. I may need to get some of those for my new place. Have a good Monday!
ReplyDeleteThey are great!
DeleteI always love these types of posts! Thanks for sharing your recent Amazon finds. Can't wait to see you this week!
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome!
DeleteThat granola is so good!
ReplyDeleteIt is!
DeleteWe get batteries at Costco and I love having a big set around to use!
ReplyDeleteI find buying the smaller packages just feel like a waste as I always need more of them so I like the big packages of them.
DeleteThese are some great buys! I have never thought of buying batteries from Amazon, what a good idea.
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteThe packing cubes look good and I like the market set you bought.
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteI have been trying to stay off Amazon with mixed results! I ordered myself a pr of board shorts for a beach vacay, and some coffee mugs as the ones I have are stained, get hot in the microwave, and need to be tossed! I also ordered a new battery for the surge protector/battery back-up in my office. I justify all things for my house. (:
ReplyDeleteI was doing so good with not buying much of anything on Amazon... until we started tackling Evan college list and I am finding so many "other" things are getting added into my cart!
DeleteLots of good purchases. Any thoughts on whether the Vitamin E is working/helping?? Also, have you tried that granola...or just your husband? I do love granola and am always interested!
ReplyDeleteEvan found the vitamin E didn't seem to help; but keeping his head dry (blow drying immediately after showering) seemed to help A LOT! I have tried that granola but I think it's too crunchy.
DeleteLove those scarves...and they are so trendy right now. PLUS (insider tip). it will be a prompt for our next Ageless style

Thank you!
DeleteI love my electric kettle and use it almost every day. We buy our batteries at Costco which tends to be a good deal. I love a pretty scarf!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteHey Joanne. I enjoyed this!! I love seeing what others like and it gives me ideas or suggestions. I love the kettle you shared.
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteThose packing cubes look interesting. But, then I'd end up with a far heavier suitcase! It's fun seeing what others buy on amazon.
ReplyDeletehttps://marshainthemiddle.com/
I can't say I packed more but I did feel like what I packed fit better in my suitcase without feeling like I was going to break the zippers.
DeleteWhat an amazing array of useful finds. I constantly throw away the drains stoppers, good to know when can I get them. I love using microplane zester. Thank you for sharing .
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteThat's a lot of batteries! It's always good to have some in the house, is my experience.
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing how fast we go through these 2 sizes of batteries.
DeleteI need those packing cubes and had no idea that there was such a thing as a stamp cleaner. Now I need to clean mine asap.
ReplyDeletehttps://www.kathrineeldridge.com
Yeah, there are different cleaners based on what medium you use for stamping.
DeleteYou primed some great things! I love my compression packing cubes and rarely use my other packing cubes now. I love having an electric tea kettle and can't live without it! That granola looks yummy! We always get our batteries at Costco but I should check Amazon.
ReplyDeleteI can see myself not really using the others now that I have the compression ones too.
DeleteThose compression packing cubes are the best! Love your pretty scarves!
ReplyDeleteJill - Doused in Pink
They are the best; thanks for the suggestion!
DeleteGreat finds! I always get my batteries at Amazon, too. Great prices and I love that kettle. I've been considering one. Do you like that one?
ReplyDeleteHonestly, we haven't used it! My brother (who is temporarily living with us) went out and bought one the same day I did so we just use his for now.
DeleteSuch a fun post! I always love seeing what others are ordering lately—it’s such a great mix of practical finds and little treats. You always give me new ideas to check out!
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteI love that that electric kettle is transparent! So nice!
ReplyDeleteYeah I like that too and it turns blue when it reaches the right temp.
DeleteGreat finds. PC ordered a nice marker set for our artistic granddaughter's birthday. I have lots of markers and gel pens but they are all old and dried up. Need to update.
ReplyDeleteYour scarves are like wearable art. Beautiful around your pretty face.
We need new sink stoppers, too. Paul bought one for one side of the sink but the other one is where I really need a stopper. Wonder if yours are universal?
They claim to be universal... but who really knows?! LOL
DeleteI love our Microplane zester. Masking fluid is not my favourite, but sometimes I have to use it. You probably already know this - make sure to test it first. Some can discolour the paper.
ReplyDelete-Soma
Yes, I did know that. I was actually thinking of playing around with using it on canvas...
