What I've been Priming Lately

I haven't shared a Prime Purchases post yet in 2026 so I thought I'd pull together a list to share for today's post... I am, however, skipping over Evan's dorm supplies that we've primed because I plan to write a whole separate post later on all his dorm things.

Thanks Tanya for the graphic!

Over the last 3 months we've bought:

My husband uses this body wash and it's not always easy to find. We find the 3 pack on Amazon is the best bang for our buck and then I don't have to worry about ordering any again for a long while.

I also like to stock up on batteries through Amazon. We bought this AAA pack and this AA pack.

My husband only uses this brand and flavor of granola and again we (often) find this 6 pack is a better deal than we can find at any of our local stores.

Our sink drain stoppers were looking so awful and even running them through the dishwasher was just not getting them clean so I decided to order this 2 pack; they fit our dual drains perfectly and look so shiny again!

I had bought Ian a nice, new, thicker pillow top mattress pad but our washing machine made a few small holes in it the last time I washed it so I bought this iron on fabric patch to use.

I had bought a pair of these jeggings in navy years and years ago and I finally wore a hole in the seam but I wear them a lot in spring so I decided to buy the exact same pair and color again.

I ordered this scarf in 2 different prints-- the pink & yellow blossoms & the oil painting irises

When Alec went back to school I found I was really missing his microplane zester so I bought my own.

I also really missed his electric kettle and bought this one for us.

I needed some under the bed storage containers and bought this 4 pack on wheels

I needed an archival ink/stamp cleaner; it works well.

I was inspired by a few paintings we saw in North Carolina to try and use masking medium again; I vaguely remember using some in my watercolor class at art school. I bought this... but haven't used it yet.

I also fell in love with this tulip set-- 3-d Embossing folder & stencil and was only able to find it on Amazon since Spellbinders discontinued it.

I bought myself a new set of markers--  I love the variety of colors but you can definitely tell it's a cheaper set as it just feels cheap but they work really well.

I bought this probiotic to try as not all probiotics treat the same area of the gut. This one seems to work best for what we needed.

My mom suggested giving vitamin E capsules a try since it seems like every shampoo on the market makes Evan's scalp all red and itchy (despite the dermatologist and allergist saying he has no allergies). We bought these to try

Lastly I bought these compression packing cubes-- now admittedly I have far more packing cubes than I'd really ever use unless I tried to pack everything I own BUT I LOVE how these compress and become even smaller after packing them.

  1. A lot of really good finds! We buy our batteries at Sam's Club for what seems like a good price. I'll bet Amazon's prices are good, too, for what you get. New sink drain stoppers- that's a good idea. I've become oddly obsessed with keeping ours clean- how wonderful to realize I can order a new one when I can't keep ours spotless. Great purchases!

  2. I always enjoy seeing what you have found on Amazon. I also stock up on batteries. Love the pretty scarf you found. Sadly I can't make any orders at the moment because there are very few planes landing in our country.

  4. Great list of mostly necessities. What would we do without Amazon? I have started checking prices and Amazon is often cheaper.

  5. I love that the underbed storage has wheels. I may need to get some of those for my new place. Have a good Monday!
