Share 4 Somethings in March 2026
Tomorrow is the last Saturday of the month and time for Share 4 Somethings with Jenn. This year we're sharing something we loved, something that sustained us, something we're carrying forward, and something we're making space for each month.
Something I loved: My husband and I had a really fabulous and delicious date night this month. We went to D' Avios Italian Steakhouse and Cupcake Charlie's.

Alec and I LOVED Wicked! We actually had a really fabulous night with delicious pizza beforehand at a place that was voted Providence's Best Pizza (and we agreed!).
We loved our time at Clark university's accepted student day-- and the delicious lunch we had at the nearby Peppercorn's restaurant.
Something that sustained me: Our generator was sustaining us through a short 2-day power outage. Living out in the country without power we also don't have water since our well pump can't work which makes things like drinking water and flushing toilets hard as well just the problems of not being able to cook or keep our food from spoiling, etc. Our generator is a real life saver in times like these. It's funny to walk through the neighborhood as that is all you hear. I think pretty much every house has one since we lose our power rather frequently (and rarely for just an hour or so).

Something I'm carrying forward: I'm holding onto my hope that spring weather will arrive real, real soon!!
Something I'm making space for: We've started slowly buying dorm supplies for Evan and we're quite literally making space for it all. We're also making space in our yard again for my parents and their trailer for the summer and a new fuel tank that Ian built for his business (that will come in real handy on those occasions when we need our generator).

It sounds like a generator is a must have. Here, our power rarely goes out but it certainly does at times. Many of our neighbors have them and I know what you mean about the sound of them. (Though it's not like everyone has them!). That cupcake whirlie looks so good and what a neat concept for a dessert. Have a great Friday!
ReplyDeleteI need to get to that pizza place. I also have heard great things about Pepperocorn's- glad you enjoyed! That Whirlie sounds like my kinda dessert- yum :)
