Talking About it Tuesday #106
Hello February! I sure hope it feels like the short month it is promised to be. February and March can be brutal up here in New England but I always have hopes that since February is a short month that it will actually feel that way... even though it rarely does. We do have some fun plans though so hopefully that will help.

This party will remain open until the weekend. My hope is that everyone will share all sorts of wonderful posts: travel, recipes, how to's, crafting ideas, and more-- up to 3 posts per blog. Anything that is family friendly is welcome; even old posts that you'd like to get some new views.

We have some plans this weekend but other than that, not anything that I can think of for the month. My February is usually very activity "lite" and that doesn't bother me. I still feel like I'm in hibernation mode- getting rest figuratively and literally before busier months. Thanks for the link up!
ReplyDeleteWe tend to have very few plans in winter... and those we make are always tentative and weather dependent.
DeleteThis weekend is our calm before the storm. Nothing specific planned but we've got a full calendar that will take us well into March! Thanks for hosting this weekly linky
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome!
DeleteJoanne,
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for all your visits!! Winter is far from over here in NEPA...We have gotten some of our best snowstorms in March...Had a bit of a warm up this week...into the 20's but the bottom will drop out again over the weekend when we are not expected to get out of the single digits on Saturday...
My Link Ups for today's party are # 16, 17 and 18!!
Thanks so much for hosting this charming party!!! I truly do appreciate it as I do know the time involved with it....I hope you and your family are well and enjoying your week!

Oh it's far from over here too. I can remember quite a few years getting of our worst snowstorms in March.. and even snow into April & May! It's supposed to get real cold again this weekend.
DeleteWe have some fun plans this weekend too. It will be good to get out of the house!
ReplyDeleteGood for you!
DeleteI'm always so happy to flip the calendar from January to February. Thanks for the party.
ReplyDeleteI'm happy to see any of the winter months pass us by!
DeleteThat blueberry skillet coffee cake caught my eye also! Thanks so much for hosting.
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome.
DeleteI think we're all still in a "winter" mood in January and by February we're over it!
ReplyDeleteLOL! I'm pretty much never in a winter mood and could happily skip that season altogether.
DeleteOur snowiest month is usually March, so I am hoping that occurs again this year as our state is low in snowpack this winter. I like the looks of the blueberry cast iron coffee cake--we had blueberry pancakes yesterday morning--so good!
ReplyDeleteI hope you get the snow you need too!
DeleteThe thermometer found its way to 30 today, so I'm encouraged!
ReplyDeleteThat was very encouraging!
DeleteMorning Joanne, thank you for a lovely party and for sharing the SSPS logo, much appreciated.

We would love you to share with SSPS & HIH https://esmesalon.com/tag/seniorsalonpitstop/
You're welcome!
DeleteHmmm...I am planning "hopefully" to do a hike Friday on a simple trail at a state park. I AM NEEDING TRAIL TIME. LOL!!!! I am also tentatively planning to attend a Tea Saturday with a friend. But things are so up in the air with our weather.
ReplyDeleteI hope you get to go hiking!
DeleteI hope February isn’t too brutal for you and feels short!
ReplyDeleteAw, thank you!
DeleteI saw that blueberry from your first pic and now I can't get it out of my head! Yum! Stay warm, and I'm hoping for a warm and quick February, too. Hahaha!
ReplyDeleteDoesn't that look so yummy?
DeleteI know what you mean about hoping February goes quickly. When we lived in New England, it was ROUGH. Here in Denver, we've had highs in the 50s for weeks. I'll take it! :) Thanks so much for hosting!
ReplyDeleteLovely! It's nearly 30 today and we are THRILLED. Especially since it's going to be back in the negatives by weekend.
DeleteThank you for hosting, Joanne! So many great features!
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome!
DeleteThanks for the feature! You made my day
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome!
DeleteThanks for the mention! We have one little overnight trip plan during the boys winter break and home improvement happening. I am working on decluttering closets!

You're welcome! Good luck with the declutter.
DeleteThe only plans I have for some point this month is to buy some new clothes because I really need to do that! It has been too long! That and trying to stay warm!
ReplyDeleteThis is the perfect time of year for shopping with lots of great sales everywhere.
DeleteIt's always great to have something fun to look forward to and especially so this time of year! Thanks for the party!
ReplyDeleteIt sure is! I mean it's always nice to have something to look forward to but especially important (for me) in winter.
DeleteI’m glad you have some fun things planned to get through February and March, Joanne. Thank you for hosting!
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome!
