Cards & Scrapbook Pages I Made in February

I made some fun and cute Valentine cards using some Digital Stamps I bought on Etsy. I buy them through DisDigiStamps

I used my Stampin Up! sunflowers embossing folder to make sympathy cards.

Then I used both the Spellbinders Betterpress and Spellbinders Hot Foil system to make these cards.

letterpress and heat embossed then colored with blender pens

letterpress and alcohol markers

hot foil and then used ink pads and blending brushes

letterpress with watercolor pencils and watercolor brush pen

hot foil with marker

betterpress with stamp pads and blending brushes

hot foil

letterpressed, embossed, and watercolored with a brush

I had a few scrapbook pages from the fall to work on; our trip to see Hadestown, the Monet Immersive experience, and the 21 Pilot's concert.

    1. I only learned about them 2 months ago. It's a digital image you print out; some come colored, but I only like the black and white ones I can color myself. They remind me of mini coloring pages.

    2. I started scrapbooking when my husband and I were engaged and building our first home and never really stopped. I got behind at times but never years worth. I say start with the photos and memories that inspire you the most.

  16. Goodness, these are all so special. I don't know the difference between alcohol markers and regular markers but the cards you used the alcohol markers on look so pretty. How do you use watercolor without having the card stock warp? Wish you could give me a class on cardmaking!!

    1. Alcohol markers allow for shading and blending. I tend to use very little water when coloring in images for cards using watercolors or use watercolor pencils with a watercolor penused

    1. I typically have something to add dimension on each card: button, brads, gems, glitter, etc.
