Talking About it Tuesday #104
I was so excited to see so many Valentine themed posts showing up already. I feel like it is so far away but really it's just 3 1/2 weeks away. While we don't do anything big I do love to celebrate in small ways like making handmade cards for the men in my life and buying some sweet treats for them to enjoy. I'm sure my husband and I will have a date night... just not on actual Valentine's day! We like to avoid the crowds.
Apparently we all love to see some love since last week's post most definitely celebrated love!

This party will remain open until the weekend. My hope is that everyone will share all sorts of wonderful posts: travel, recipes, how to's, crafting ideas, and more-- up to 3 posts per blog. Anything that is family friendly is welcome; even old posts that you'd like to get some new views.

Those heart "things" are all so cute! VD does seem like it should be a long way away but it isn't, really. Thanks for the link up :).
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome! Weirdly when I went shopping this week hardly any VD day stuff is around.. it's all Easter already!

DeleteThanks so much for hosting this weekly linky. All the features look interesting and unique!
ReplyDeleteThat is one thing I love about these link parties; you never know what someone will share.
DeleteHi Joanne and Happy Tues. Thanks so much for hosting #104. My shares are 42, 43, and 44. Love seeing the Valentine's posts. I provided two and a smashing recipe for the perfect vegan baked potato. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for joining us, Nancy!
DeleteThanks for another week of Talking About It Tuesday, Joanne. The months go by so fast, as do holidays! I usually make a favorite dinner for St Valentine's Day and my husband gives me roses which makes a winter week feel more festive.
ReplyDeleteThey really do go by so fast!
DeleteI love all of the Valentine's Day things. It feels closer to spring once V Day hits! Thanks for hosting!
ReplyDeleteI think it does too; plus it gives me something to look forward to when the rest of February feels rather bleak.
DeleteMorning Joanne, thank you for a great weekly party and great features

You can't go wrong with classic gifts like that.
DeleteHappy Tuesday, Joanne! We usually try to go out for Valentine's Day, too, especially since it also happens to be my birthday. However, this year the actual date is a Saturday so we may be staying in that night! We're not big fans of crowds either! Thanks so much for the party!
ReplyDeleteOh how fun that it's also your birthday! I also don't like the prix fix menu most restaurants near us offer (though I get why they do that; a whole restaurant filled with 2 tops makes for a very busy kitchen!).
DeleteThanks for hosting, Joanne! It does seem holidays do creep up on us lol. Have a wonderful week!
ReplyDeleteThey sure do!
DeleteThanks for hosting the link party! We don't do a lot for Valentine's Day either. Dinner out sometimes but I don't mind if we just stay in.
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome!
DeleteI know--it seems to be coming up so fast! My husband and I don't like the crowds and hustle and bustle of actual February 14 so we just have a date night another day. :) Thanks for hosting this fun link party. I've left 3 posts and am off now to visit others. Have a great week.
ReplyDeleteYep, we do the same!
DeleteI can totally relate about avoiding the crowds! Me and my husband are the same.
ReplyDeleteI know so many that are the same way.
DeleteOur anniversary is two days away from Valentine's Day. We never go out then, we don't love the crowds either!
ReplyDeleteYeah that is the trouble with getting married near a holiday; our anniversary always falls during Memorial day weekend and while restaurants aren't crazy the traffic usually is!
DeleteWe don’t celebrate Valentine’s Day. Our motto is “Everyday is Valentine’s Day.”
ReplyDeleteWe like to celebrate everything and anything we can.
DeleteOur plan this year is to have the spouse of a friend of my husband to come over on Valentine's so she won't be alone. We will try to get a date in at some point that month.
