Holiday Home Tour 2025
We took one single year off from celebrating Christmas and that made it so much harder to decorate this year. We could not remember where much of our decorations used to go; adding in the help of my husband and Ian and I was pretty blazé about the whole thing this year. I think the house still looks fabulous though. And best of all it took us under an hour and half to get it all done!

ReplyDeleteXoxo
Jodie
Thank you!
DeleteI love the little touches everywhere! I do the same: I have downsized my decor over the years but love what I have and spread it around different spots of the house. Just makes it festive!

We have downsized a lot too.
DeleteEverything looks so festive and cozy. I always have to look back at the blog to see where I put things. It looks like your Christmas cactus is blooming too.
ReplyDeleteI thought about pulling up old blog photos but decided to just wing it.
DeleteIt looks beautiful, Joanne. Fun, festive, happy. I love all your vignettes and that sled is a treasure. Christmas everywhere!
ReplyDeleteAw, thank you so much!
DeleteJoanne, your home looks warm and inviting and just enough festivity for Christmas. Beautiful tree!
ReplyDeleteThank you!

ReplyDeleteThank you! I think in the end it all came out looking great too.
DeleteHi Joanne, it all looks fabulous!! Enjoy.
ReplyDeleteAw, thank you!
DeleteIt's so nice and cozy as well as meaningful, Joanne! It takes me several days because I struggle to remember where everything goes, too! I thought I had taken photos, but I can't find them.

I definitely wasn't very particular about anything this year and I'm glad I still loved the end results.
DeleteI love that you have many decorations that hold a beautiful memory. It looks very cozy!
ReplyDeleteAw, I love that so many of our decorations hold beautiful memories too.
DeleteI always have to look back on old Christmas photos to see where some of the decorations go. lol You have a beautiful home and I love all of the decorations.
ReplyDeleteI thought about doing that but decided to just rely on memory and wing it as to where everything else goes.
DeleteI can't even imagine only spending an hour and a half to decorate my house for Christmas. It takes me at least 4 to 5 days. That's incredible.
ReplyDeleteI definitely think that was a new record!
DeleteYour home looks so festive, Joanne! I love it.
ReplyDeleteAw, thank you so much, Kari!
DeleteLovely and festive! You did great in such a short time. Thank you for your weekend coffee share.
ReplyDeleteThank you for hosting.
DeleteI love how you have little bits and bobbles tucked into all the nooks and crannies! It's so festive without being "over the top" (what *that means)! Enjoy the season!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteVery festive, Joanne! We've scaled back on the Christmas decor....adding touches here & there.
ReplyDeleteBelieve it or not we scaled back too!
DeleteGreat job! Your home is beautiful, and I love all of your cute decorations, so very pretty. :)
ReplyDeleteAw, thank you so much Jayne.
DeleteBeautifully decorated! So festive and inviting!

DeleteSuch a delightful home tour.
ReplyDeleteYour home looks beautiful and festive.
I especially love the decorations tucked in among the plants.
Aw, thank you so much. I love those random pops of color next to my plants so much. It was just a last minute whim but it's perfect.
DeleteIt all looks lovely and Christmassy Jo - and you did it a remarkably fast turnaround time - we have MUCH less and I think we still took a couple of hours to do it. Wishing you all a wonderful Christmas and New Year. x
ReplyDeleteAw, thank you! I was surprised at how quickly we were done. It usually takes me a good 1/2 a day at least to get everything out.
DeleteLove all your festive touches....even better that you had help putting things out!
ReplyDeleteThank you! I was so happy for the help; typically they hear it's decorating day and everyone scatters.
DeleteYour house looks amazing. Super cool and fun. I love it. Who cares what the boys said, you did a banging good job.
ReplyDeleteAw, thank you!
DeleteMay I ask why you took a year off of doing christmas decorations? And what made you decide to do them again this year? Your house looks lovely by the way : )
ReplyDeleteWe weren't home last Christmas. We left for a 2 week Hawaii vacation for much of December and our trip was the gift to our boys so we basically just skipped celebrating. We couldn't convince my husband to go away on another trip this year (though the other 4 of us tried to persuade him for several months).
DeleteEverything looks great, Joanne! I really love the garland over the kitchen cabinets. I would love to do that in our home!
ReplyDeleteI love that it's battery operated and on a timer! It makes it so easy.
DeleteJoanne, your home looks so pretty and festive. I am happy to feature your holiday home tour at Love Your Creativity. Merry Christmas.
ReplyDeleteAw, thank you so much!
DeleteIt looks so festive! Love all your plants, too!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
