Holiday Home Tour 2025

We took one single year off from celebrating Christmas and that made it so much harder to decorate this year. We could not remember where much of our decorations used to go; adding in the help of my husband and Ian and I was pretty blazé about the whole thing this year. I think the house still looks fabulous though. And best of all it took us under an hour and half to get it all done!

Front Door:

Front entry way:

one of my high school friends and her husband made this reindeer for us our first Christmas in this house before we even had kids!

The sleigh my grandmother painted by hand is on the side of our bench on prominent display and the metal wreath will get filled in with holiday cards as they arrive.

My candy cane wreath went on the back of the front door this year

 Our great room:

I had fun tucking all sorts of little decorations in with my plants

The kitchen just got a few small touches:

    1. We weren't home last Christmas. We left for a 2 week Hawaii vacation for much of December and our trip was the gift to our boys so we basically just skipped celebrating. We couldn't convince my husband to go away on another trip this year (though the other 4 of us tried to persuade him for several months).
