Talking About it Tuesdays #97

While my husband and I ended up at David Burke steakhouse at Foxwoods for our date night again this weekend, we met up with a co-worker of my husband's and his wife for sort of a double date. It was fun and I honestly don't think we've been out with another couple (that wasn't family) since before the boys were born! How was your weekend?

I decided to try something new for picking features this week. Rather than relying on reader favorites or a few of my favorites I used a random number generator to pick 4 features from last week's party.. I'm not sure I'll keep that up going forward but it was fun to see what we'd end up with this way.

A few randomly selected features:

Handmade Fall Cards for Small Children by Amy's Creative Pursuits

Easy Fudgy Pecan Pie Brownies by Organized Island

This party will remain open until the weekend.  My hope is that everyone will share all sorts of wonderful posts: travel, recipes, how to's, crafting ideas, and more-- up to 3 posts per blog.  Anything that is family friendly is welcome; even old posts that you'd like to get some new views.

You are invited to the Inlinkz link party!

  2. The double date sounds fun! We haven´t had one recently- I should do something about that. I like randomly featuring posts from the link up. I will check out those adorable turkeys and the brownies. WOW- they both look so good!

  3. Thank you so much for featuring my fall card! I so appreciate. I'm glad you had so much fun on your double date, although I'm shocked how long you have gone. You will have to do that more often!

  4. Sounds like a fun date! Random number generator is a good idea. Back when I was hosting parties, I always knew I was biased towards certain subjects.

  9. Thanks for hosting. I don't think my husband and I have been on a double date for years. Of course, I am one of those homebodies as I have gotten older lol.

  11. I remember when my husband and I became empty nesters and we wondered how we'd reconnect with other couples/make friends as so much of our lives had revolved around our girls and their friends and activities for so many years. It's been a nice change as we've rediscovered other relationships and the fun we can have! Thanks so much for the party!
