Fall Home Decor Tour

I didn't put out all the fall decorations this year but I did use a lot of them. It took me just one afternoon and I only put decorations in the 3 main rooms of the house this year. I love it!

Simple but just enough. Mostly I just love the twinkle lights and candles when it starts getting dark in the evening.

    1. Thank you! I've inherited most of those through the years from both my sister and my mother in law. I'm shocked I haven't killed any of them yet.

  4. Joanne, your home looks so nice! I think you put out just enough. With Eddie Otis, I can't put a lot out and I can't put anything too low. Lol. He found a decorative ball the other day and thought it was his.

  6. Just the right amount of fall touches! I really like your thankful pumpkins. I have some pumpkins here and there and a few other touches just like you. It is not overwhelming but gives a nice ode to autumn.

    1. They really are! I think they love the lighting in that room. I don't dare move them in case I kill them.

  10. That looks very cozy! We don't decorate that much here in the Netherlands. Such a pity really.

    1. Aw, thank you! I don't typically think of myself as having much of a green thumb but these plants really do love to seem the lighting in our house.

  12. Oh my goodness I LOVE all those plants! I've realized I'm so bad at plants... the only one I've been able to keep alive for any amount of time are snake plants, and they require basically nothing from me lol. I long to have a home full of plants one day like yours!!!
I'm working on getting around to those who have followed me before, so if I've already left you my new blog address please forgive me lol! I was able to recover one of my old blogs! So I've shifted things from my newer blog (which was a simple life) to one of my old ones and I'm so happy to have those posts back! I'm sharing over at https://seekingsimpleblog21.blogspot.com/ if you would like to follow :)
I have to get my fall decor up !!! I've had the boxes in the living room for three days, I need some motivation!

  15. Love the decorations, but that spider plant is amazing! I used to have a green thumb, but these days, it's more black than green! And, I know spider plants are easy to grow. Have a wonderful weekend!

    1. My original spider plant was inherited from my husband's grandmother when she passed away. I've nearly killed it a time or two but luckily my sister in law is a plant whisperer and she told me how to revive it.

    1. Thank you! I definitely give all the credit to the lighting in the house since I don't have much of a green thumb either. If they start looking unhealthy I have no clue what to do for them...

  21. Such cute fall decor. I especially love the pillow.

  22. I enjoyed seeing all your fall accents! The twinkling lights are always my favorite too. I adore all your thriving plants! I wish I could have some. But living in two different homes makes that hard. People are not fond of taking care of plants. I do have a few at the Lakehouse that my neighbor takes in for me. I so appreciate her.
Your home is cozy and festive. So much to love! 🧡

    1. Oh yes, that would be very hard. I have tried using those self-watering bulbs and found they didn't work either.
