Summer Photo Challenge
I put together my own photo challenge for the summer; once again hoping to get myself to use my "real" camera more. But I'd say 99% of these photos were taken with my phone. I did bring the Nikon to Glacier national park with us but could not get it to work despite changing the batteries. I guess it might be time for a replacement.
Anyway I had fun filling in the prompts and have started putting together a list for fall-- any suggestions on prompts I should add to my list?
Flag or Umbrella
Sunrise/sunset
Book
Ice cream
Lemonade/drink
Flowers
Fruit
My view
Boat
Water
Clouds
Blue sky
Mountains
Lake
Family
Friends
Vacation
BBQ
Fire
Hiking
Animal
Waterfall

Great pictures! Ugh about your Nikon but camera phones take really good pictures now, fortunately. I was curious when I first saw your Glacier pictures if you used your Nikon or your phone camera. The quality looked really good to me.
ReplyDeleteThank you! My phone does take really amazing photos... which is why I've gotten so lax about using my "real" camera.
DeleteFun challenge! The iphone photos are just getting so good. I saw an entire movie was coming out that was shot on an iphone.
ReplyDeleteOh neat!
DeleteSuch a great collection! My Nikon really could use an upgrade but I get so overwhelmed with all the options and I'm not in the know about what's good.
ReplyDeleteI feel the same way about hunting down a new one. I'm hoping it was a bad batch of batteries and will try swapping them out one more time just to make sure.
DeleteThese are great! Those water views are stunning.
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteLoved this! Another great way to collect your beautiful pics :)
ReplyDeleteAw, thanks!
DeleteThat's impressive that you took them on your phone. Annoying about the Nikkon not working though!
ReplyDeleteI was mostly annoyed that I carried it for a 10 mile hike... only for it to stop working after the first 10 feet or so!
DeleteYou really got some great shots! I feel like our phone cameras are catching up to the "fancy" cameras. I've found that I don't even use my "fancy" camera anymore now that my iPhone has gotten so good! I really need to just sell it!
ReplyDeleteThe stuff you did this summer, most people won't do in a lifetime. This is incredible. What beautiful pictures. Thank you so much for sharing them with us. Do you ever frame any of your photography?
ReplyDeleteGreat photos! That is so frustrating about your Nikon!
