Currently.. September 2025

It's the first Wednesday of the month and time for the Currently link up with Jenn. This month we're talking about what we're currently loving, beginning, ending, picking, and posting.

Loving:
Lunch this weekend with Alec, Evan, and my mother in law (oh and I finally managed to get a photo of his room all unpacked).

I never order breakfast foods out but wow; this waffle dish was amazing!

We ate lunch on the patio in the sunshine; it was lovely

We also had a really lovely walk and lunch on Sunday too. My husband, my mother in law, the two boys and I all walked from our house to the local ice cream stand (that also serves a limited menu). The weather was just perfect!

Beginning: Our trip! As you read this my husband and I are hopefully on our way to Glacier National Park (our plane leaves early this morning). Evan and Ian along with my parents and in laws are holding down the fort at home.

I can't wait for views like this!

Ending:
This marks the official ending of our summer break since Evan and I plan to dive into his schooling and the whole college application process when I get back home.

Picking: All summer long I made it a goal to pick different ice cream flavors to try each time we went out for ice cream. This weekend I tried a new one called graham central station that was really good.

Earlier this month I tried strawberry cheesecake

I also tried Kahlua brownie sundae one day after taking Evan on a college tour.

Posting: So far this week I've posted my Prime Purchases from the past 2 months, my usual Talking About it Tuesdays link party and a Throwback Tuesday post. Tomorrow I'll be back with the Share Your Shelf Link up and Friday is a Sentence a Day/Gratitude post from the month of August. But I plan to start our trip recap by the middle of the week next week. Hopefully I'll have tons of beautiful photos!

  4. The breakfast waffle looks delicious and so do the ice cream flavors. I hope you get to enjoy some huckleberry ice cream this week. There is a store called The Huckleberry Patch ( 8868 US Hwy 2 East, Hungry Horse, MT 59919) that has all things huckleberry. I bought so much there and everything was delicious!!! It is fun to see all the variations. Enjoy one of the most beautiful places in the world!
