What a neat way to journal the month! I have gotten back into the habit of Picture of the Day but am a couple months behind blogging on it :/. I like the record of outfits, books, food and steps - I just changed the alarm in my phone from taking a picture at a certain time each day (Noon in June, 9:30 in July, etc) to recording a sentence a day - and hopefully a picture too - in August. Thanks for the idea! I could so relate with your first sentence - that July flew yet the 4th seems AGES ago. Funny how time in the summer works that way - it must mean we have lived FULL summer days :)
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! There used to be a monthly Sentence A Day link up and I just sort of got in the habit and couldn't stop. I use them so much to look back on what year we did what/ate what/ etc.

ReplyDeleteI feel like I've had lots of those lately... and I'm not complaining!
DeleteYou are always busy! How much time to you give yourself to read? How do you get all this done everyday? Now that I am home more, I find that I am doing less around the house. This is not intentional (newly dx ADHD). I need any suggestions you can give :)
ReplyDeleteI enjoy reading your monthly highlights. The foods you eat looks so delicious.
Have a wonderful weekend.
Take care and best wishes.
Ha! I hear that a lot. Typically I read an hour in the morning while eating breakfast... especially if the weather is nice but I'll read again around lunch and usually in the late afternoon too. Sometimes I also read after dinner when the family is watching TV if they're watching something I don't really care for. I also read (or listen!) to books in the car. Anytime my husband drives I'm probably reading. I start with a to do list each morning and cross things off as I go and set mini goals. Like I can't read another chapter until I've gotten dinner all prepped and the dishes done. Or I'll read while I fold laundry so I can cross two things off my list at once-- one I really want to do and one I really don't!
DeleteGreat coffee post, Joanne.
