Talking About it Tuesday #70

We finally had a fairly normal week last week so I managed to visit everyone that linked up at last week's party. We actually had a pretty rainy week so I had lots of extra time at home. It was much needed though and I felt like I got a lot of things done. I hope that all the mom's out there had a lovely Mother's day weekend (if you live in the US!) and that those who find the holiday tough found it just a bit easier this year.

This party will remain open until the weekend.  My hope is that everyone will share all sorts of wonderful posts: travel, recipes, how to's, crafting ideas, and more-- up to 3 posts per blog.  Anything that is family friendly is welcome; even old posts that you'd like to get some new views.

You are invited to the Inlinkz link party!

  1. I don't dislike rainy days (unless I wanted to do something fun outdoors.... and when they happen days on end!) generally. Our area looks like Ireland right now with everything vibrantly green due to rain so I can't complain about it too much!! I'm glad you got a lot done inside. Have a great day!

    1. I was hoping to tackle the gardens and get the patio furniture out but I don't really like either of those chores so I was happy the weather derailed those plans.

  2. The desert needs rain horribly bad! I know that we live in the desert, but the cacti still need a good drink. Plus, when it is too dry, that can bring fires.
I am so glad you got a lot of inside work done. Hopefully this coming week will bring less rain for you.
Thank you for hosting the Linky Party. It’s always fun to join.

  10. I especially love rainy days now that I'm retired! They are often a lovely invitation to slow down a bit. We had a quiet Mother's Day after going non stop for quite awhile. Thanks for hosting us all each Tuesday!

  12. Lots of rain here: kind of put a wrench in some of our plans: we did get the yard mowed but now need the back of our yard weed wacked, a job for my oldest.
