Friday Favorites: Wrapping Up September

We had a pretty quiet week at home.  I hardly took any photos at all.

Our weather has turned quite chilly these past two days with highs in the low 60's.  I don't mind when we have such beautiful, clear skies to go with it though.

I managed to sit in the sun a few time mid- day and soak up some sun but I definitely think my days are numbered unless I want to start bundling up soon.

I pulled out an old package of Color Street nail wraps and am LOVING this color/pattern for fall!

The younger boys and I went on hike Wednesday.  Alec had the day off from school for professional development and we went up to Moore State park.

We cooked up some yummy food this week including this sausage/ tortellini soup and some banana chocolate chip bread (recipe coming in October!) for my husband and oldest son.

I have used grocery pick up three times in the last two weeks and I am loving it!  Things have just been so busy here and being able to order online and pick up in minutes has helped tremendously.

  6. Beautiful early fall pictures! And the banana bread looks delicious! I try to make banana bread (or muffins) whenever I have overripe bananas but sometimes I'm too lazy and they end up in the trash.
I've yet to try grocery pickup. I really should because I hate grocery shopping!

    1. I often throw them into the freezer (peeled) if I'm not ready to cook up some bread just yet. I was hesitant to try grocery pick up but after we had to quarantine last fall I had no choice that week and the store did a fabulous job. We've used it off and on ever since.
