The States I've Visited

The topic for this week's twenty-six lists is the states and provinces (in Canada) we've visited.  I had great plans to put together a whole post on the different state I had traveled to at the end of the year since we had plans to knock a few more states off our list.

However, with all the travel bans we haven't been able to go anywhere at all this year (other than a quick weekend trip to Maine) so this list is a perfect little precursor to a much longer post I hope to get to write next year.

1. Arizona

2. Colorado

3.  Connecticut (I live here)

4. Florida

Taken off our balcony in Tampa Bay

5. Iowa

6. Maine

7. Maryland

8. Massachusetts

Taken on our trip to Salem, Mass.

9. Nebraska

10. Nevada

11. New Hampshire

Taken from our balcony in Loon (more about that trip here)

12. New Jersey

13. New York

14. North Carolina

Taken on Wrightsville Beach, NC two years ago when my mom and I flew down to surprise my sister on her birthday

15. Ohio

16. Pennsylvania

17. Rhode Island

18. South Carolina

Taken from our window in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina

19. South Dakota

20. Tennessee

21. Vermont

Taken during our rainy weekend in Burlington, VT

22. Virginia

23. West Virginia

24. Wyoming

Taken on our trip to the Mountains/mid-west

25. Delaware- I debated about adding this one to my list but I have driven through the entire state even though I've never stayed in it so I decided it counts.

I've only visited 2 provinces: Quebec and Ontario though I have been to both provinces more than once.

    1. I have so many trips planned in my head! Not sure the wallet will agree with me once we can travel but it's keeping me somewhat sane to think about it.

  3. You've never been to Illinois! So you need to visit Chicago sometime and we can meet. :) I love travel and miss it. I love posts like these because they inspire me to find new places to travel to when we can branch out again.

  4. Such a fun post! I see that you've never been to Georgia... you need to come visit sometime! There's lots to do here! I've been to around the same number of states you have, but you seem to have been to most of the ones that I haven't been to. So funny!

    1. We have family in MT and almost went there for a wedding... but I was pregnant at the time (I think?) and we ended up staying home.

  8. You've been to lots of states! As a child we drove everywhere when we went on vacation (one where we drove from MI to CA and back... hit a lot of states then) so I have some states from that.

    1. We used to drive almost everywhere too; often from Ct to either North Carolina or Fla. I tried to only "count" states that I've been in as a tourist but did make some exceptions like with Delaware.
