My Spring Bucket List
With the official start of spring it's time to start putting our spring bucket list together. We didn't do so great with our winter bucket list (which you can read all about by coming back tomorrow!), but I have high hopes that we'll get to accomplish most of the things on our list this season.
I'm linking up with Once Upon a Time Happily Ever After and we'd love to have you join us if you have a list made out too.
1. Host a BBQ
2. Enjoy our family vacation to Disney/ Universal Studios (postponed from February)
3. Go hiking; try to find at least one new trail to try out.
4. Enjoy a few Kayak adventures
5. Try some new recipes
6. Take our bikes out on the airline trails
7. Pull out patio furniture and set up hammock
8. Eat ice cream out
9. Watch the sunrise (or sunset)
10. Host a family game night
11. Go to the movies together
12. Plant some flowers and herbs
13. Visit Dinosaur State Park
14. Head to the beach
15. Tour another Newport Mansion
* I felt that I needed to jump on and edit this post as it was written pre- Covid everything. Now that we're quarantined in our homes and only allowed out for grocery shopping or medical emergencies we might not get to any of this... but I am going to keep hoping and dreaming!

I hope you are able to get out and do all of these, but if not, I'm sure you'll come up with some other activities for a different sort of spring. :-)
ReplyDeleteThank you. I'm sure we will come up with other ideas if needed.
DeleteI'm glad you explained at the bottom that it was written before quarantine because I kept thinking, "Oh no. She's not going to get to do a lot of these." Ah well, it'll be more restful anyhow..
ReplyDeleteLOL. Yeah, I don't think much of it will happen..
DeleteI hope you will be able to do some of these things in the next few months. Thanks for the blog visit and stay safe and be well.
ReplyDeleteThank you.
DeleteI hope in time, that you get to enjoy everything on your list! Stay safe. x #MMBC
ReplyDeleteThank you! I hope so too.
DeleteKeep the faith! This too shall pass- I believe you are in NH just like us- we are lucky to have the trails, mountains, beaches ....we have to keep looking for the joy and sun...you got this Mama!
ReplyDeleteI do keep reminding myself of that everyday!
DeleteYou might be able to do some of it!
ReplyDeleteThere's at least 1/2 the items on this list that don't require being in "public" so I think we can still manage a good portion of them.
DeleteSo glad to see your update on winter's list...I usually give my update old the past season when I reveal a new season's list and I FORGOT to do that. Losing my mind over here. So putting together my final winter update right now.
ReplyDeleteYour list for spring is similar to mine...several activities that don't require being around others. I really want to get a little raised bed for herbs. Thanks for that reminder.
Hope your family and mine can both explore some new trails this spring. We have our eye on one that we have hiked several times but not in recent years. It is pretty strenuous but I hope we can get in shape to accept its challenge.
Anxious to check out your new recipes. Hope you will share!!
Thanks for joining me!
I'll definitely share new recipes as we try them! We've been talking about putting in raised beds for years... but just have not gotten around to it yet.
DeleteThis is a great list! And I'm sure you'll be able to get some of them accomplished. I was reading your list and it just brought such peace to me. I think it's the way you've listed them out but also that they just seem to be such peaceful activities...eat ice cream, ride your bike, visit the beach, go to a state park. Sigh....I do hope this craziness calms down so very soon! xoxo
ReplyDeleteOH me too! I really enjoy that slow lazy pace of spring sliding into summer.
DeleteHoping that your vacation doesn't get cancelled again!
ReplyDeleteThanks! I am keeping my fingers crossed but my husband has already started talking about maybe just postponing it yet again until the fall (where I joked we'd most likely get waylaid by a hurricane!).. I'm not sure I have in it me to plan it all for a third time this year.
DeleteI think we've all had to make some adjustments! But family game night and lots of your other list items are home friendly... I've pulled out our patio furniture, and ordered some spray paint to try and spruce them up for another season...
ReplyDeleteWe are all definitely making adjustments for sure. I can not wait to put out our patio furniture but it's still pretty chilly here and our wood is stacked up on my patio. Good luck on the "redo" of your furniture!
DeleteHere's hoping you get to do all the fun things you have planned!
ReplyDeleteAw, thank you!
DeleteAs I read some of these activities, I wondered if you would be able to do them due to the Covid-19 crisis. I hope you do! There are still some activities on the list you can do - planting flowers and herbs and family game night sound like fun.
ReplyDeleteThere are definitely activities we can still do! We look forward to getting out kayaks in the water and enjoying some quiet time on the lake just as soon as our weather stays nice for more than 2 days in a row.
DeleteSounds like a very nice list filled with fun activities and time with family. Those New Yorkers escaping to Florida may postpone your family vacation even longer. I didn't know you had a link party until I was looking at a link list on someone's website. Happy to join in on the fun!
ReplyDeleteSo happy to have you joining us!
DeleteI hope you can cross off some of these items this Spring! It's definitely a weird time for plans. I know a few things I had planned already have been cancelled, so that's a bummer.

Thank you; we had to cancel our Disney trip already but I do hope to get most of the rest of the list completed.
DeleteThank you.
