February Goals

I did pretty well with my goals for January so I decided to keep on working through my goals one month at a time.

Health/ Wellness--

1. Make an appointment with the Doctor.  Despite my surgery in December I was still in quite a bit of pain off and on all throughout January.  I need to see if we can get to the bottom of the pain once and for all.

2.  Maintain current weight.  I know I should be putting reach goal weight on here but I am looking at our month and just don't think that is realistic.  I am perfectly happy staying right where I am for now.

3.  Continue to add more water drinking into my day.  I'm trying to drink between 2 & 3 of my Yeti Tumblers a day (somewhere between 60 & 75 ounces of water).

4.  Keep exercising at least 3 times a week: mixing up hiking, yoga/Pilates, and weight training.

Blogging--

1.  Go through each day in February and make sure all links in all February blog posts ever posted are working.

2.  Try to continue having posts ready at least one full week ahead.  I have been working with this schedule for quite some time now and it works really well but I have been slacking off lately.  Other than my Friday Favorites I try to have all my other posts ready in advance.

Fun/ Family--

1. Set aside ALL the above monthly goals for one week while we are on vacation.  I want to have the most fun ever on our family vacation and am trying to get myself to just live in the moment.

2.  Make a special Valentine's dinner and get all the boys a little token gift.

3.  Swap out Ian's carpet with plank vinyl flooring! We swapped out Evan's flooring in November and our goal is to have all three rooms done by summer.

4.  Host a family game night. We often break out games and begin playing together but this month I'd like to invite other family members to play with us.

  4. I love how you're setting individual goals each month, this is awesome!! Smaller goals are so much easier to achieve and you feel so much more successful. Pinning this for later :)

  5. Great goals!! Glad to be reminded that you are the blogger who is doing the link-checking. I am following your good lead and I checked January's posts last month. Thank you for the great idea. I have got to get back to Weight Watchers. TOMORROW! No, really!!
And trying to get ahead on my blog posts, too, but have a post due Tuesday that isn't finished yet. Oh well!!

  6. We were invited to a game night but now I learned Dave is out of town that day, ugh. I have to lose weight again. I just went way up this weekend. I don't understand how that happens!

    1. I find my weight is just all over the place; it seriously can go up and down by 3or 4 lbs in a week! Overall it seems to keep leveling out at the same weight but I just don't understand what has changed these past few months that make it seem impossible to move any lower on the scale.

  7. I'm always encouraged when I read your goals. I've been keeping food records, and also trying to plan for movement every day.

  8. I don't make goals, but I do maintain a to-do list that I follow so I don't forget anything. - Margy
