Our Fall Bucket List

Oh I just love fall!  The crisp, cool air, the pretty leaves everywhere, wearing sweaters, drinking hot cocoa... I just love it all!   I know I haven't re-capped our summer bucket list and I will be doing that before the official first day of fall but I saw that Emily and Sarah were hosting a wonderful fall favorites linky and I didn't want to pass that by so I thought I'd share my fall bucket list a little earlier than planned.

1.  Decorate the house for fall.

2.  Go apple picking.

3.  Make homemade candy/ chocolate/ caramel apples.

4.  Go hiking!!

5.  Have a mini movie marathon one day.

6.  Enjoy a fire in the fireplace.

7.  Make a gratitude list (for each day of November)

8.  Host Thanksgiving dinner.

9.  Make pumpkin and apple desserts.

10.   Go to the movies.

11.  Go on a nature scavenger hunt.

12.  Put together a puzzle

13.  Find some more letterboxes.

14. Take a painting class together.

15.  Have a family game night.

16.  Take annual photo of the boys.

17.  Go to the shore; we love visiting the ocean in the off season when it's less crowded and not so hot.

18.  Go on a drive and enjoy the colors of fall!

19.  Listen to a fall/Halloween themed book on CD together.

20. Try out a new bike trail now that we know how to mount the bike rack.

    1. I have never made caramel apples; just candied ones. Yet, I don't like candy apples but I LOVE caramel apples so we definitely have to try that this year.

    1. Oh, we made 4 or so apple pies each year; I have my mom's recipe and began making them for the whole family when she moved away. Now that's she's moved back up here with us all it's just become a habit and I still make just as many!

    1. That sounds like a lot of fun. I used to love my watercolor classes. I was a fine arts student in college and found that watercolors were so soothing.

  17. Oh, my gosh...so many great things...a gratitude list in November!! LOVE!! The candy/caramel apples. Yes! The family photo or photo of your babies. Great idea, fall is such a pretty season for photos. I keep getting a jigsaw puzzle out and then putting it back under the bed. My Prince Charming isn't too keen on puzzles and my kitties just keeping dancing on top of it. Can I come over and help you with yours?

You really have a fabulous list. Hope you will share your progress when we post updates on 10.21 and 11.21. Will be cheering you on!!

    1. I just recently got my boys to help put together puzzles so we try to have one on our dining table that we can all work on as we want to. We had to put our kitty down earlier this month so we no longer have to worry about him getting into mischief with it.
