Our Fall Bucket List
Oh I just love fall! The crisp, cool air, the pretty leaves everywhere, wearing sweaters, drinking hot cocoa... I just love it all! I know I haven't re-capped our summer bucket list and I will be doing that before the official first day of fall but I saw that Emily and Sarah were hosting a wonderful fall favorites linky and I didn't want to pass that by so I thought I'd share my fall bucket list a little earlier than planned.
1. Decorate the house for fall.
2. Go apple picking.
3. Make homemade candy/ chocolate/ caramel apples.
4. Go hiking!!
5. Have a mini movie marathon one day.
6. Enjoy a fire in the fireplace.
7. Make a gratitude list (for each day of November)
8. Host Thanksgiving dinner.
9. Make pumpkin and apple desserts.
10. Go to the movies.
11. Go on a nature scavenger hunt.
12. Put together a puzzle
13. Find some more letterboxes.
14. Take a painting class together.
15. Have a family game night.
16. Take annual photo of the boys.
17. Go to the shore; we love visiting the ocean in the off season when it's less crowded and not so hot.
18. Go on a drive and enjoy the colors of fall!
19. Listen to a fall/Halloween themed book on CD together.
20. Try out a new bike trail now that we know how to mount the bike rack.

I love your list! I love puzzles so I love that putting one together is on your list. I may have to add that to mine!
ReplyDeleteIt's only something we seem to do in fall and winter and I didn't want to forget to buy some so I added it to the list! :)
DeleteThis is a great list! I used to love making caramel apples when we were growing up! I love the idea of making a gratitude list!
ReplyDeleteJill - Doused in Pink
I have never made caramel apples; just candied ones. Yet, I don't like candy apples but I LOVE caramel apples so we definitely have to try that this year.
DeleteSo many fun things! Those apple desserts look delicious. I want to try to make a homemade apple pie this year. I've never done it so no telling how that will go! Haha.
ReplyDeleteOh, we made 4 or so apple pies each year; I have my mom's recipe and began making them for the whole family when she moved away. Now that's she's moved back up here with us all it's just become a habit and I still make just as many!
DeleteA Fall bike ride when the leaves all start to turn sounds marvelous!

Doesn't it? I like those cooler days for bike rides too.
DeleteI loved reading your Fall bucket list! I think I’ll make one for myself. Since my beloved hubby passed away six years ago, I’ll gave to think of fun things to do with friends and grandchildren. Thank you for the idea!
ReplyDeleteOh yes, there are lots of fun things to do with grandchildren in the fall!
DeleteThis sounds like a fun month you'll have ahead. My friend and I have been taking a water color class together that's been a lot of fun.
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like a lot of fun. I used to love my watercolor classes. I was a fine arts student in college and found that watercolors were so soothing.
DeleteSounds like a great list to me. And fall is my favorite season!
ReplyDeleteIf I could find somewhere to live that was fall-like year round I'd move there in a heartbeat!
DeleteWhat a fun list! I love going places on the off seasons, you get to enjoy all the things with a lot less people!
ReplyDeleteExactly! We have vacationed in the off-season for years.
Delete...my bucket list is rather simple, just enjoy each day as it comes my way!
ReplyDeleteThat sounds wonderful.
DeleteLoving your list!!! I so wish I had a fireplace, that would be amazing!! Le sigh. And yes to puzzles!! It's been ages since I've done one!
ReplyDeleteIt was my one request with our new home (well, it was new when we moved in 16 years ago!).
DeleteGreat list! All those things to look forward to makes it easier to say goodbye to summer!
ReplyDeleteIt sure does.
DeleteSo many fun things on your list! A mini movie marathon sounds awesome, as does homemade caramel apples. We always do a puzzle at Christmas, but I might have to add that to my list of things to do now! Thanks so much for linking up!
ReplyDeleteI saw so many great puzzles with fall leaves/ colors in them that they inspired me. Thanks so much for hosting.
DeleteI definitely want to have a caramel apple this season, but strangely, didn't think about making my own!
ReplyDeleteSarah at MeetTheShaneyfelts
I've never tried making my own so I'm not sure how hard it would be but it's worth a shot.
DeleteOh, my, what a fun list! I just want to "unplug" and start in with a pumpkin dessert while working a jigsaw puzzle in front of the fire. Love this time of year!
ReplyDeleteThat sounds wonderful!
DeleteWonderful list! Thank you for sharing at Party In Your PJ's.
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteIt all sounds fabulous. Enjoy your fall!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteOh, my gosh...so many great things...a gratitude list in November!! LOVE!! The candy/caramel apples. Yes! The family photo or photo of your babies. Great idea, fall is such a pretty season for photos. I keep getting a jigsaw puzzle out and then putting it back under the bed. My Prince Charming isn't too keen on puzzles and my kitties just keeping dancing on top of it. Can I come over and help you with yours?
ReplyDeleteYou really have a fabulous list. Hope you will share your progress when we post updates on 10.21 and 11.21. Will be cheering you on!!
I just recently got my boys to help put together puzzles so we try to have one on our dining table that we can all work on as we want to. We had to put our kitty down earlier this month so we no longer have to worry about him getting into mischief with it.
DeleteWhat a fun list! Thanks for sharing on the Farm Fresh Blog Hop!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
