My Latest Scrapbooking Pages

I got a really great start on scrapbooking for the current year!  I uploaded and ordered all the photos we've taken so far this year then organized them by month and activity; making sure to write names, dates, and details on the back. 

Once I had that done decided what to scrapbook was so easy!  I managed to get all of these pages done in just two days and have only titles left to make on all my other layouts.  I could not believe how easy it was to accomplish so much... all thanks to those scrapbooking kits I was gifted!  

Once again I turned most of those two page kits into perfect one page layouts.  









Though I did put one two page layout together and didn't change a thing.  




Have you ever tried scrapbooking using a pre- designed kit?  I never had but I do love how quickly it all comes together.

      Those cat ones are my favorites too; especially since we had to put him down recently. I know the boys will just love having these memories preserved.

    I love this!! I haven't scrapbooked in years! There's a store here called "Mighty Dollar" and they have a HUGE selection of dollar scrapbooking supplies! Do you have one near you??

    Your pages are adorable. I have lots of scrapbooking supplies in my closet. Maybe one day I'll return to it. I always enjoyed it so much, and I am SO thankful for the albums I did complete.

      Thank you! I took a good 3 year break (at least) and have just recently made an effort to return to it-- and I'm loving it! I think the boys being the ages they are and the fact that I have more free time makes all the difference.

Favorite TV Shows Growing Up in the 80's and early 90's

Do you remember the TGIF lineups on Friday nights? I can remember planning sleepovers and time with friends around TV Show lineups of our favorite shows... or else trying to set the VCR to record our favorite shows if we weren't going to be home. Prime Purchases in April 2025

 It's the first Monday of the month and time for Prime Purchases. I didn't buy all that much this month; just 2 orders!  My biggest purchases were Evan's textbooks for next year (which I'll share later in the spring when I show what he's studying for his senior year). I did order a few things for the rest of the family and bought a couple of "just for fun" stuff for me. My husband loves these click belts but his old one was all worn out so he asked me to get him another one.   I bought some of these large command hooks for Alec's dorm room for next year.  I was told we were out of these probiotics.   I bought myself this National Parks color by number book and this National Parks word search book.   And finally I bought myself these earrings- - I LOVE them! Things That Make Me Laugh

I loved the challenge of this week's list for our 26 lists link up.  I don't know about you but I really need to laugh more lately.  It's such a great stress reliever. 1.  Books-- I love a good funny book that makes me laugh out loud.  I haven't read one in a while but if you have any recommendations I'm all ears.  The last book I can remember making me laugh was the Un-Honeymooners. 2  The boys being silly. 3.  Watching shows like America's Funniest Videos or Family Feud. 4. My husband.  Most people don't realize it but he's actually pretty funny and often makes me laugh. 5.  Whenever my sisters/ family get together and we get to reminiscing (particularly if my Aunt Elaine is around) we end up laughing so hard at all the old family stories that we are all in tears by the end of the night.  It's fabulous. 6. Louisville, Kentuckey Girls' Trip days 3 & 4

 Sunday morning we had a later start to our day, deciding to meet Amy at Biscuit Belly at 10:30. I ordered sweet tea, a fruit/yogurt/granola bowl, and some Bonuts (donuts made from biscuit dough) that came with bourbon cream cheese frosting.   From there we took two cars to head out shopping; stopping at 2 different stores.  After shopping we stopped at BoomBozz to get some appetizers to share then Amy headed home while the rest of us piled into Maria's car and headed out sightseeing in downtown Louisville. We stopped by a park to look at all the bridges. Then headed to the Louisville Slugger Museum to see the giant bat.   From there we headed back to the rental and hung out until it was time for Tanya to go to the airport. Maria and I drove her while Amy hung out back at the house with Marilyn and Jenn. Louisville, Kentuncky Girls Trip days 1 & 2

** Before I get into my trip recap I have been hearing from so many of my subscribers that they aren't receiving my emails. I have no idea what is going on but I've noticed that I'm not getting many emails from those blogs I subscribe to either. Things like Mailchimp, Feedly, etc. (from what I am reading and understanding) are getting blocked a lot more by email platforms and their spam filters. I did try restarting my entire email campaign last night... can you let me know if you see a difference?** Thank you!    Last year a group of bloggers and I met up in Nashville and had such a great time that we decided to make it an annual trip.
