Weigh In Wednesday-- 3 Month Check- In

I have officially been on WW for 3 months now and have lost just over 18 lbs.  in that time.  I have gone down 1-2 clothing sizes (depending on brand/style) and have increased my physical activity by leaps and bounds.

Sadly, I seem to be stuck in the weight loss department and only managed to drop .5 lbs in the past two weeks but I'm not gaining so I'm content to keep eating in my blue dot range most days (allowing myself one cheat day a week) and am hopeful that the weight loss will start up again.

I am still loving my fruits and veggies and enjoying a wide variety of foods.

For breakfast most mornings I am still sticking with my fruit and yogurt parfait but did make myself an omelets for breakfast on Father's day.  Paired with some fresh fruit my whole breakfast that day was zero points!

Of course this time of year the fruit is so delicious even just by itself so at least once a week I have a fruit salad for breakfast throwing a little bit of the various fruits we have together.

I love the warm/ hot sunny weather because there is just something about summer and salads that just seem to go together.  The nicer weather makes it easier for me to eat healthier. I often have salads with fresh fruit and lean protein for lunch and have been adding a few fat free croutons or even some nuts for a very low-point meal.

I just love all the fresh veggies available this time of year.  It's not uncommon for me to eat a zero (or under 4 point) dinner loaded with vegetables.

4 point eggplant parm. with zero point salad, and roasted broccoli with mushrooms

This meal would have been only 4 points for a hot dog & bun but I skipped lunch and decided to have two!  (It's the first time we tried the fat free turkey dogs and really liked them a lot).
All these low point meals leave me plenty of points for yogurt bars or an occasional ice cream treat; something I tend to crave a lot when the summer sun shows it's pretty shining rays.

I always try to cook extras for dinner so I can have leftovers for lunch... particularly on these nice sunny days when I want to spend very little time inside.

    1. I don't see how I could ever get into a smaller clothing size (even when I was battling eating disorders I couldn't fit in smaller clothing than I am now-- my hip bones are where they are!).
