Encouraging Hearts and Home-- Our First Shoreline Trip of the Year

After more days of rain than I'd care to admit to we spent a glorious day at the shore yesterday.  The sun was out and though it felt a bit chilly at times with the wind I was just fine in flip flops, pants and a light sweater.  I even got a minor sunburn! I'll have more photos and details about our day up on the blog soon but here are a few photos...

  1. Great beach pictures. The beach really is my favorite place. I was looking at "The Memory House" and I think I'd like that book too. Would be a good audio book.

    1. It was so nice just to hear the waves and smell the salty sea air. I did (accidentally) get hit by a wave and brr! was it ever freezing! Luckily my pants and toes dried pretty quickly in the sun.
