Love to Learn-- Museum of Work and Culture

A huge part of our homeschooling life has always been taking field trips.  We love to learn with hands on experiences and it's fun to get out of the house; especially in winter.

We're studying the industrial revolution right now and we took a field trip to the Museum of Work and Culture in Rhode Island.  It was so fun!  There were a few hands on challenges, lots of movie and sound clips, and replicas of what the factory buildings and workers homes were like.

What is the best field trip/ museum/ zoo trip that you've ever been on?

What have you been up to?  I'd love to hear from you either in the comments or by linking up your own blog post!  Please join us!

  2. I used to do so many field trips but my health has limited them. I need to try and plan a little better or be ready for that "good" day to just go! Love your inspiration.
