45 MORE movie Night Ideas

Looking for family movie ideas?

It sure seems like we're always looking for fun movies that we can all enjoy for our family movie nights.

We used to host family movie night once a month but it was becoming difficult to find movies that we could all enjoy together.

My middle school son would rather not watch anything with cartoons if it can be avoided but many live action movies have a lot of swearing, nudity or deal with topics I'd rather not expose my two younger ones to.

I've already compiled one list of family movies we do enjoy together and thought I'd put together a second list.
Around the World in 80 Days (Widescreen Edition)
E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial Anniversary Edition
The Sorcerer's Apprentice
Beethoven
Hop
Alvin Chipmunks 1-3 Tf Dvd
Star Wars Trilogy Episodes IV-VI (Blu-ray + DVD)
Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory
King Ralph

    1. My youngest son and I have been watching the Deathly Hallows part 1 this week; we've watched them so many times we practically know them by heart but he asks every night if I'll watch some more with him. I try to say yes as often as I can.

    1. That is such a classic. I'm pretty sure I only remembered though because it was my younger sister's favorite movie and we watched it A LOT growing up.

  7. Thank you! This is a constant struggle for us too. We watch movies constantly since the pandemic started. We are currently binge watching the Dog Whisperer.
