Talking About it Tuesday #142
It was another wonderful fall weekend here. My husband and Ian headed off all day on Sunday to go deep sea fishing so I had the whole house to myself and best of all I didn't have to do any cooking at all if I didn't feel like it (and I didn't!).
We had another very successful link party last week and I noticed a few new blogs linking up as well. I love when that happens!
Most Popular Posts from Last Week:

I hope the fishing trip was successful! It's always nice to have a break from cooking... thanks for the link up :).
ReplyDeleteOH yes, I'd say almost too successful as it took me 2 days to clean and sort all they caught!
DeleteJoanne,
ReplyDeleteI bet you enjoyed having the house to yourself and the bonus was not having to cook!!

Thanks so much for hosting this charming party!!! I truly do appreciate it as I do know the time involved with it....I hope you and your family are well and enjoying your week!

I really did enjoy my little "break."
DeleteIt is nice having the house to yourself sometimes!! I'm glad you had a good weekend with some nice fall weather. We did until Sunday when we got drenched but it was a really nice week.
ReplyDeleteThank you! We had a whole lot of rain on Sunday too.
DeleteI love a whole day alone in the house with no thoughts of what to make for dinner. My hubs is going to be away for a weekend later this month and I try not to act too excited when he talks about it lol. Thanks for the link up!
ReplyDeleteLOL! That is a riot, Joyce. But I know what you mean.
DeleteI love having the house to myself sometimes, too. And not having to cook!
ReplyDeleteThank you! Sometimes it's the little things..
DeleteThank you for the party! I would have had FOMO if I was left by myself for the day. :)
ReplyDeleteI have zero desire to spent upwards of 18 hours away from the house for a little fishing.
DeleteThanks for hosting, Joanne. Sounds like a lovely day - doing just what you want to do!
ReplyDeleteIt was! Thanks.
DeleteHappy Tuesday Joanne! Thanks bunches for sharing and warm hospitality each week. I'm sitting at #32 this week.

DeleteI love days when everyone else is out of the house! I hope the fishing trip was successful for your guys and that you enjoyed your day at home! Thanks, as always, for the party! We're sharing #33 and #34 this week. Happy Tuesday!
ReplyDeleteOh yes, they had a fabulous time and caught so, so much. I just finished packing it all up for the freezer into individual meal servings.
DeleteWow, you go deep sea fishing. Hope you were successful dear Joanne. I am back from Greece and ready again to visit some blogs.
ReplyDeleteHave a good time

I don't but my husband and son do a couple of times a year.
DeleteOh don't you just love a quiet day of solitude! And no need to cook! Yay!
ReplyDeleteIt was so nice! I loved not having to cook.
DeleteA free day to enjoy doing anything you want is fun now and then. I always have a frozen pizza in the freezer for such occasions when I don't have to cook.
ReplyDeleteLuckily I had plenty of leftovers and ready made foods like salad/ fruit salad to pick from.
DeleteYum, using apple butter instead of applesauce sounds like a great idea!
ReplyDeleteI thought so too!
DeleteMorning, Joanne. Thank you for a lovely party.

DeleteA quiet day at home alone always makes me appreciate the chaos when it returns! Thanks for the party!!
ReplyDeleteExactly! I wouldn't want it to be like that all the time but every now and then it's just lovely to have some time alone with no one to think about buy myself.
DeleteIt is lovely to have the house to yourself at times. When my kids were young and my husband would take them out in the woods for a day, they would worry that I would be lonely. I would tell them I would make it okay lol. Have a wonderful week, Joanne!
ReplyDeleteLOL! I used to ask for some alone time as a mother's day or even birthday gift... every now and then.
DeleteAlways fabulous to meet up here and check out the interestng mix of blogs. It is nice to have the house to ones-self for a day. Have a great week, and thank you again for the linkup.
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome!
DeleteHow did the guys do fishing? Will you share any fish pictures with us?!
ReplyDeleteIt’s wonderful being home, no distractions, doing whatever you feel like doing!
