Jeans with Ageless Style

It's the third Thursday of the month and time for another ageless style challenge. This month Jodie picked jeans. I loved this easy topic suggestion! For fall I typically pair my jeans with sweaters and booties (or flip flops if the day is warm and sunny enough!). But I'll wear most any top with jeans. I don't have a favorite style of jeans so I keep a wide variety in my closet; though I don't really like wide legged or barrel leg jeans I do have some wide legged ones and keep hoping they'll grow on me.  For early fall I still like to use capri jeans when I can.

I've had at least one or two readers ask where I buy my clothes so I'm trying to start linking up what I can where I can but none of these are affiliate links.

Jeans found on clearance at JC Penney years ago; this sweater from Stitch fix; sneakers from TJ Maxx

  1. I like how you wear a variety of styles of jeans. I have a few varieties including some jeans that I feel are more dressy than others. I really like the floral embroidered ones.

  2. I also wear a variety of jeans. I need to start cuffing mine like you do. It looks so cool!

    1. Aw, thanks! Those are actually sew into the pants that way. I am a sucker for cuffed jeans and just saw at Macy's with the whole exposed hem all filled with rhinestones that I can't stop thinking about.

  3. Easy topic since I also wear jeans all the time and in all seasons. They are so versatile. You have a lot of variety!

  4. Looks great! I love jeans and a sweater because it's so easy, but looks put together. I haven't gotten into the wide leg/barrel jeans either but I am not tall and have a long torso.

    1. Thank you. They really aren't growing on me yet.. I much prefer a more streamlined look that I just don't think wide leg and barrel leg jeans can do.

  5. I love the outfits and thanks for linking where you got things! You get a lot from stitch fix! I have those sneakers from TJ Maxx in pink.

  7. Lots of great looks and I do love how the wider style jeans look on you! It took me a while to embrace them, didn't think I could pull them off at my 5' 2" height but now that I found 2 that I absolutely love, I don't like the look and feel of straight/slimmer jeans on me. Still kept my favorites slimmer styles though. It's good to have a variety to choose from.

    1. Aw, thank you. I do get compliments on the wide leg jeans but I don't really like them myself. But it is great to have a variety of styles to pick from.

  16. I used to love the bootleg ones and then they went out of fashion so I am stuck in a rut of wearing skinny jeans. You look great in all the jeans you wear.

    1. Yeah, bootleg are still my favorites. Modern day flare legs are similar; maybe try those?

  21. You do have quite the variety of jeans. I love how "anything goes" with jeans today. It used to be only one style of jean was appropriate, now we can wear any style of jean which is nice because we can wear the style that fits our body type the best!

  22. Love that you have found so many great pairs of jeans at JCP. Your cuffed denim is super duper cute. And that embroidered pair!! Wow, so feminine and pretty. You scored some pretty great sweaters/tops from your Stitch Fix. Haven't done one in a long time. Maybe I should treat myself.
