Share Our Lives: Our Favorite Current Music
It's the second Monday of the month and time for Share Our Lives. This month we're talking about our favorite current music.
I actually have a pretty eclectic taste in music and just about anything I can sing to, I'll listen to. That said I've become pretty obsessed with 21 Pilots after attending their 2 concerts and if given the choice I pretty much just listen to those two show set lists on repeat. Today I thought I'd share a few of my favorite songs of theirs.
Legend-- A sweet, sweet heartfelt tribute to Tyler Joseph's grandfather and his passing; dealing with grief, nostalgia, and Alzheimer's.
Good day-- This is one of those upbeat songs that I love to listen to with the sunroof open while belting out the lyrics.
Next Semester-- I love the beat and while this songs deals with the feelings of anxiety the message that you can always start fresh next semester is a helpful one to keep in mind.
Midwest Indigo--
Lavish-- this one I just love-- and gosh the music video is just perfect.
Garbage-- "I feel like Garbage" is the first lyrics in this song and yet it has such a fun beat. It's another I love belting out while driving.
I could go on and on, really! It's one of those instances where I feel like they're pretty much all my favorites.
I hope you'll join us next month when we share those things we wished we had known (when we were "younger").
I'm only familiar with a couple of 21 Pilots' songs- the ones that were played on the radio. I like them! I listen to an eclectic mix of music as well. I like to listen to contemporary Christian music in the car as well as some of the hits from when my kids were younger. I also like some 70's-90's popular songs.

DeleteI had to listen to a few because I honestly couldn't think of their sound. I think I had them confused with Stone Temple Pilots. I have become such a podcast person. I really need to turn to music more. Tom and I have a favorite singer from Austin, TX that we both enjoy listening to in the car.

DeleteWe've been listening to a lot of Opalite by Taylor Swift, it's Violet's favorite song right now.

DeleteI haven't listened to 21Pilots so I will check them out. Lately I have been listening to Stick Figure, The Hip Abduction, Stylie, Tropadelic, and all Cali-Reggae style music, perfect for summer. (:
