Talking About it Tuesdays #126

We had a quiet weekend at home. My husband and oldest son went deep sea fishing on Father's day so I was off the hook for gifts and cooking and celebrating. I spent lots of time reading and crafting and relaxing. Alec has been doing a great job sending multiple photos each day... I don't always know what I'm looking at but it sure looks like he's having a great time.

I hope you all had a lovely weekend as well. We had lots of yummy patriotic looking recipes in last week's party as everyone here in the states gears up for the 4th of July holiday. Of course we had lots of other topics covered too. It really can be so hard to pick just a few favorites to feature each week! Did you have a favorite from last week?

This party will remain open until the weekend.  My hope is that everyone will share all sorts of wonderful posts: travel, recipes, how to's, crafting ideas, and more-- up to 3 posts per blog.  Anything that is family friendly is welcome; even old posts that you'd like to get some new views.

  1. Your weekend sounds nice- it sounds like everything went well for the guys and not having to do anything always sounds pretty darn good to me, lol. Thanks for the rec for first aid/medicine storage idea for dorms/apartments. I showed what you ordered to Alyssa and she definitely wants one of those filled with basics she may need. She has all of the "things" but not in a handy, organized container.

  2. That's so funny that Alec is just sending photos but no words. Boys. It sounds like your hubby got the type of Father's Day he wanted. Mine just wanted to be left alone to get some work done around the house. Men. ha ha.

  5. I love that we can receive photos from our kids so often and so easily. Back when I was in college, I was only able to call my mom once a month. And photos had to wait til the whole roll was taken and then developed. Instant communication is one aspect of modern technology I love!
